I posted about Palestine on social media for years with zero interaction. No one wanted to talk about it and it has always seemed too far removed for americans to give a shit about.

So again I just want to remind people, it's never been like this before (in the us). This movement has always been here, but they can no longer bury it.

The fact that protests and boycotts have been sustained for going-on 6months, that's not nothing. This should be evidence to you that we can sustain the momentum, we must, and use this momentum for radical changes within ourselves, our habits, and our education.

We have the rest of the world to catch up with.

Hot(?) take but I really hate the idea of "looksmaxxing." Like what does it even mean to "maximize" your looks. Wouldn't you rather think about what you like looking like instead of going off of some template made by someone who doesn't even know what you look like?? Like maybe you actually look gorgeous with your big forehead or small chest or softly rounded cheeks or flat nose or crooked front teeth or narrow hips and you actually don't have to change any of that just to go up some arbitrary scale???

Realistically I could never get rid of tumblr because it gives me the illusion of a community of strange young women all around my same age, all slowly figuring out how to live too

heartbreaking the number of women who aren't constantly thinking "okay but what does this do for me? how does this further my goals?" literally (I'm going to drop the no-no word) be a huge bitch and save your own life.
