Scrutinizing eyes leer at the taller male, challenging and without remiss as Dabi continues to try and sell his point. On one hand, HARI declined because Dabi isn’t quite his ideal suitor by any means, but on the other, he couldn’t help but feel his curiosity piqued by the sudden interest in him. 

                       “Why are you so intent on it, hm?”

“Surely I am not in such high demand because you find me charming.“

                              “   Is that a threat, or a promise?   ”

he steps forward, daring to push the others boundaries just a little more,  stopping only a few inches away from the shorter male. the mask is annoying, he can’t read what the other is feeling with the damned thin in the way; so he relies on the inflation in the man’s tone, the way his words drip with perhaps, an underlying meaning. 

                                    “    i like playing with fire.    ” 

a hand raises, a flick of a blue flame sparks from his finger tips as his lips twist into another smile; more eager than the last.

                                      “    i like being burned.    ”

“Who k n o w s what masses of parasites might be coalescing under your skin and inside of you. What d i s e a s e s you may be unknowingly or otherwise c a r r y i n g .“ Although annoyed, HARI’S gestures and movements are reserved and dignified, belying any and all real emotion that may lie beneathe the surface.

he wasn’t offended by the insults. if anything, the words just aided in the raven’s amusement, were all those yakuza this hermaphroditic?

 dabi knew he wasn’t the ideal man. he wasn’t beautiful. he was grotesque. the stuff of nightmares.

                          “    i think you’ll find yourself pleasantly surprised if you’d allow me to demonstrate my kissing abilities. i’ve heard no complaints so far.    ”

stitched lips turn upward coyly, turquoise hues glistening with mirth, if there was one thing that the raven enjoyed; it was twisting the nerves of these yakuza fellows. they were always so expressive despite their masks.

            a pause.

                     tomura is quiet as kurogiri speaks. it isn’t often that the other male shares his worries, so he’s quick to be patient and allow the man to explain himself. when he starts to persist and apology for worrying tomura, the younger grips his wrist a little tighter.

                      “don’t apologize.” he says, shifting their positions slightly so he could stare into the amber hues of his caretaker, taking in the tired eyes that he’s known all his life. 

                       “you’re allowed to feel however you want.”

                 SHIMA loops his arms around Tomura’s shoulders in a tender, careful embrace as he presses his face into those wonderful, messy cotton-candy locks his son has always seemed to have through the years. He wishes he could protect him. 

Glassy-eyed and vacant, he allows tired eyes to become half-lidded as he presses a kiss to his baby boy’s head, exhaling softly.

                    crimson hues flicker slightly at the first sign of of contact, but upon realizing whose arms were wrapping themselves around his shoulders, the man relaxed. the familiar scent of his caretaker washed over him, his own hand twitching slightly as it raised to lightly touch the fabric of the other’s sleeve. the tender kiss to his head told him that kurogiri needed skinship; specifically tomura’s touch. 

                    “you ....alright?” he asks, the touch on the sleeve becoming a little more firm as he shifts slightly against the elder male.

“I don’t know why I believed you.”

“You have no idea how much I hate you.”

“You do realize they’ll never truly love you, right?” 

“You don’t really blame them for cheating on you, do you?”

“Yeah, but they never really loved you to begin with.”

“This tastes like garbage.”

“I could go with you, or I could swallow razor blades.” 

“Your parents have no idea who you are.”

“You sure as hell aren’t here on purpose.”

“Is it really much of a wonder why we broke up?” 

“I’ve always wondered what it would be like if you left.”

“They think you killed her.” // “They think you killed him.” 

“No amount of make up is going to help you right now.”

“I told him you ditched class to fuck your friend.”

“I hope alternate universe you gets hit by a bus.”

“You can’t change what your parents did, so stop making excuses for yourself.”

“Honestly I’d rather die in a fire.” 

“Your life makes Minions look like a masterpiece.”
