Yea, sure, he knows its his birthday today- but he isnt really that excited. It just means hes getting older. Not fun. Plus every birthday hes had has turned into some cataclysmic event, so… hes really trying to avoid anyone remembering what day it is today. Avoiding people in general-

“GALAHAD— GALAHAD?!” The kings scream is like something that echoes throughout the throne room. A rouge noble, raged and mighty and done with being under such a carefree kings rule, had launched into a brawl trying to kill him themself, galahad stepped in trying to stop the crazed noble and arthur watched as a sword plunges through galahads chest, a blow meant for him. The others arrived too late.

The knights rushed into the room as arthur caught the fallen knight in his arms, holding him close and shaking him as he sets him down on the throne, trying to do his best to stop the bleeding and crying out for medical help whilst the noble was dealt with. (Moreso, loosing their head.) but it had all happened too fast, galahad was bleeding out too fast, before the nurses could make it, he’d already fallen deceased. The throne room had erupted in the kings despairing cries as he held the fallen knight and buries his face into his neck. Ignoring the voices of the others or any attempt to comfort him as he held the corpse of the one he loved so dear. He felt broken. He felt betrayed. Everything hurt and his throat burned at how much he’d been screaming and wailing. Cursing the gods for taking him so easily. Wailing out how it should’ve been him. He didnt deserve to live in a world where galahad did not. It wasnt fair. It wasn’t FAIR. He’d broken down so bad all he could do was cry and mumble soft confessions through violent cries. He should’ve told him sooner. He should’ve let him know how much he meant. It was his fault. His fault his fault his fault.
