“A thousand times I’ve failed. Still your mercy remains. And should I stumble again. Still I’m caught in your grace.” That’s so true, no matter how many times I’ve failed, GOD is still there loving and guiding me. If you have made a mistake and the enemy is taunting you, or if you are in a pit of guilt, the Lord wants you to know that He loves you. The Lord says, “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you. Again I will build you and you will be rebuilt.” Jeremiah 31:3-4 He will rebuild all that the enemy has destroyed in your life. All you have to do is run to the arms of Jesus.

People give the Disney Princesses flak for needing to be rescued, but they hardly ever take into account how often the Princesses do the rescuing.
Cinderella: Constantly saves her animal friends from traps and Lucifer the house cat (also unknowingly saves the Grand Duke from a beheading)
Ariel: Saves her love interest from drowning and saves Flounder and Sebastian from becoming sea food ( the former from a shark and the latter from a sadistic chef)
Belle: Saves her father from life imprisonment in the Beast’s castle, saves the Beast from falling to his death after being stabbed, and breaks the curse on the Beast and the entire castle staff
Pocahontas: Saves her love interest from execution and prevents a war between her people and his
Mulan: (I know I don’t need to say it, but I will anyway) Saves herself and the Chinese army from being slaughtered by the Huns, saves her love interest from falling to his death, and saves the entire country of China from Shan Yu
Tiana: Saves herself and her love interest from the frog hunters, saves New Orleans from Dr. Facilier, and broke the curse put on herself and her love interest
Rapunzel: Ressurects her love interest from death and helped herself and her friends escape from a flooding cave
Merida: Saves her mother from being killed by her own father and breaks her mother’s curse
Anna: Saves her sister from being murdered and saves her love interest from falling off a cliff
Elsa: Breaks the eternal winter curse on her kingdom
Moana: Saves a demi-god from being eaten by a giant crab, saves a goddess from an eternity of committing rage and violence, and saves the world from Ta Ka’s curse
And this is only taking the Princesses’ original movies into account. I didn’t even include the things they’ve done in sequels, TV shows, and other media. Moral of the story is: the Disney Princesses are awesome. You guys are just mean.

I think some of the best advice I’ve learned to give myself spiritually is no matter how much I sin or fall, no matter how many times, no matter how guilty or ashamed I feel, never stop coming to Jesus. Never let it hold you back or keep you away from drawing close to Him and trying to grow. Never tire of repenting, even if it feels like you repeatedly repent for many of the same things. Sin is inward and it takes more than a one time conviction for the behaviors to fully follow and get out of habits or the depths of our depravity. Accept the truth you’re forgiven and free when you come to Christ and genuinely want Him to continue to change your heart to be more like His, and move forward. If I stop moving toward Him because I am letting my sin become greater than his grace and mercy, I am doubting the power of His redeeming work to the power of my flesh. Paul reassures us in Romans nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. If that is our reality, then we shouldn’t let anything, no matter how bad, how frequent, how difficult it is to overcome, how long it takes to get past- none of that should ever stop us from still coming to Him and seeking to become more like Him. Don’t give up because of your sin or fallings. Look to Christ. The whole point of the cross was not only that Christ paid the price to remove our condemnation, but He triumphed victoriously over all sin and death. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in us, and we can overcome. Believe that. Don’t let discouragement drag you down or get stuck at “I obviously can’t be holy.” Of course you can’t, we’re sinful by nature, which is why we desperately need Jesus- but there is bright hope in knowing we have Him, and He is able.
