A few interesting facts about city:

The city ranks 3rd in terms of architectural monuments in Ukraine.

From March 22, 1919 to November 1920, it was the capital of the Ukrainian Republic.

«Strimká lanʹ» - is the highest bridge in Europe without vertical supports, as well as a favorite place for bungee jumping (height 54 m).

Kamianets-Podilskyi ranks 3rd after Oxford and Cambridge in terms of number of students per capita.

European route E 40 is the longest European route,[1] more than 8,000 kilometres (4,971 miles) long, connecting Calais in France via Belgium, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan, with Ridder in Kazakhstan near the border with Russia and China.

The M06 is a major transnational corridor and along with the M03 combines into European route E40. This is a Ukrainian international highway (M-highway) connecting Kyiv to the Hungarian border near Chop, where it continues as Hungarian main road 4 to Záhony and Budapest.
