Her eyes opened; the bright blue sky greeted her...slowly her gaze trailed over to the teenage boy that stood over her. He looked concern. She felt bad, she didn't mean to make a stranger worry. How long was she out? It couldn't have been very long. Betty was fighting off some bum who was trying to steal a lady's purse. She immediately jumped into the scene - luckily the woman ran away, but Betty dealt with a few punches - being knocked out. Now, she had a stranger be concern over her. Just what she needed.

"...Yeah." She mumbled, slowly sitting up. She would wince, feeling her head throbbed in pain. She must have hit her head. Gently rubbing the side of her head, she managed to climb up to her feet, dusting off whatever dirt was left on her pants.

She would wave a hand in dismissal. "I-I'm fine...honestly." Her words remained coming out as a mumble, too embarrassed to have her speak in a louder tone. This was embarrassing. "Just...I'm fine."

The smell of the rich coffee scent brought a familiar calmness for Betty; it was a scent she was all too familiar with. Betty never had a taste of the caffeinated beverage, but the smell was enough for her to recognize it. It was the scent that alerted her that her parents were awake. Her father would be the first to wake up - turning on that cheap coffee maker and often Betty would be woken by the sound of her father opening and closing the fridge door, fetching the carton of coffee cream. She did like when at the end of their grocery shopping, they would stop by at Tim Hortons - loving that strong coffee scent mixed in with freshly baked doughnuts. Her parents did suck, but she liked those rare moments they would share together. She wish they were not rare.

"I...I don't really...have a hatred towards vampires. Okay -- scratch that, I do. But...they can be scary. I mean -- well, they drink blood." The redhead would take a seat beside the table, casually looking behind to be sure neither Louis or some random vampire were standing behind - ready to take a bite from her neck.

Betty could not understand how one could be so trusting of them like Rashid. Was he not afraid that one day he may possibly be killed by the hands of a vampire? Was he in hopes that they would turn him? Gosh, who the heck would want to be vampire? Not her -- the thought of relying on blood as a food source grossed her out.

"Really?" She had questioned. She would blink quickly. Betty was not the most intelligent person, but she did hear of some cultural customs that were far different than what was practiced in the western countries. But the thought of children being allowed to drink coffee was new to her. If her parents had heard that - they would down right die at that thought. They never allowed her to have a taste of it, often telling her that she could try it when she was older. They were not here, so perhaps one cup would not hurt.

"Y-Yes please. But...just a small glass. Th-Thank you, Rashid." She would say, her hands rested on her lap. "I did hear that in France, children are allowed to drink wine. Maybe...that's just a myth. I - I'm not sure..." She would then look down, pressing her lips together, hoping she did not offend Rashid with what she had just said.

Try changing the subject, Betty!

"Have...Have you been working for Lou -- Mr. Du Lac very long?" Perhaps that was not the best way to change the subject, but seeing a human working as a servant for a vampire was quite intriguing for Betty.

No one asked for this but I just wanted to say it lol. Betty is strong, but her strength is nothing compared to Superman or other hero that would be Kryptonian. Due to her only having a quarter amount of the Kryptonian gene - both her strength and healing factors are weak. If the injury is mild, she can easily heal from it. But if she was stabbed or was shot at - she would heal very slowly and would turn into a scar. Depending on where she was injured and the amount of blood loss, she can die.

Betty’s telekinesis is very weak. She is only able to use it to move smaller objects. If she had to use it during a fight - she would not be able to successfully defend herself. Using her ability causes her to have a headache that will last for two days, and will have a nose bleed.

"I like Billy, he's pretty cool - he drives a motorcycle. That's really cool. He is...a bit quiet and doesn't seem to like having a conversation with me. I don't know...maybe it's just me and probably still mad at me for interfering with his business. But -- oh well, he'll get over it. Eventually. I do think his...villain name is kinda weird - jigsaw. It reminds me of that weird puppet guy from those sawdust movies. I think that's what they're called. Anyways, he's cool."
