Alright, so, most of us know that about 200 million years ago, all the continents were one supercontinent called "Pangaea", yeah? Well, if you don't, here's a map:

But, well, I won't get into too much detail, but Pangaea started to be split apart because of convection currents or whatever. And on normal maps, you can see that the continents sort of...match together. And they used to be connected.

And now, of course, when we eventually meet aliens, and they find out that we have like 7 continents, they might be super shocked. To them, this is extremely strange. And for the occasional species where their land breaks apart, it's only broken in half where the organisms on each side evolve to be very different from the others. As rivals, more or less. But nah, humans bust in like: ...um...actually....

And then we have to cover all of the social impacts and whatnot. What if aliens had only one government? Or maybe two for those species that were split? That would completely eliminate a war on their own planet between countries and whatnot. So to them, they can't fathom fighting themselves. And this can cause so many shit to go down and to them, humans are impossible monsters who, of course, only exist by very rare coincidence and—

Okay, so, I've kinda covered this, anyone wanna add on?

(video) Furudate-sensei, thank you for all your hard work these past eight and a half years! Really, thank you so much.  After encountering Haikyuu, I have made some incredibly delightful friends, and I’ve met so many magnificent people, and I’ve been able to see some really wonderful, beautiful sights. The Haikyuu series, both the manga and the stage play have added such brilliant color to my life. And I think that’s true for a lot of people both in Japan and around the world. So if you’re raising your hand or thinking that you agree with me, please hit like or retweet!  I think sensei will look at this so if there are a lot of people agreeing, he might be happy about that, I think! (laughs) No but really, I think this has touched so many people and made them happy and excited and, what else… it’s a series that’s so full of motivation and encouragement to make your own life brighter, and for me personally, it’s been really… Of course it’s a shame that it’s over, but… what do I want to say? I’m going to reread the manga over and over again. And you can rewatch the play over and over again too. Yeah, I want to read it over and over again and relive how I felt in this part or that part… (laughs)  Personally that’s what I want to do.   And for now, I think of how hard you’ve worked, so please take a break and rest.  And then, after you’ve done that, I’d be happy as a fan if I could read another one of your works, sensei.   It’s been a weekly publication for such a long, long time, thank you for your hard work. We wish you well on your new life! (laughs, claps) Even though I’m restraining myself, we’re all excitedly… (long pause) Really, thank you so much for your hard work on this series for the past eight and a half years!  Thank you.   I’m looking forward to the next time we meet!

This was meant to be a quick warm up, but it turned into a comic that I’ve wanted to draw for a while. This is something that is extremely important to me, and I appreciate it if you read it.

A while ago, I heard a story that broke my heart. A family went a cat shelter to adopt. The daughter fell in love with a 3-legged cat. The father straight up said “absolutely not”. Because he was missing a leg. That cat was that close to having a family that loved him, but the missing leg held him back. Why?!

Many people have the initial instinct of “nope” when they see an imperfect animal. I get it, but less-adoptable does NOT mean less loveable. 9 out of 10 people will choose a kitten over an adult cat. And those 10% that would get an adult cat often overlook “different” animals.

All I want people to do is be open to the idea of having a “different” pet in their lives. Choose the pet that you fall in love with, but at least give all of them a fair shot at winning your heart.

Don’t dismiss them, they deserve a loving home just as much as any other cat. They still purr, they still love a warm lap, they still play, they still love you. Trust me, next time you are in the market for a new kitty, just go over to that one cat that’s missing an eye and see what he’s all about!
