2018...not my year

I had a huge break from Tumblr and I’m sorry, I just wasn’t really good mentally. I faced death for the first time in my life and that was really awful. Anyway..I’m freaking back and I will post as often as I can.

I had a really tough month and 2018 was a shitty year...most of the time. The only good thing in this year was that, as a crazy and indecisive teenager, yes...I fell in love...kind of. I don’t believe in like “love from the first sight” and these things. It was a buildable relationship... Anyway...in general 2018 was really bad. I’m just hoping about 2019. Many shitty things happened this year and December 1st was the worst day of my life.It was when I saw death taking a member of my family...sounds so cheesy but it’s true.

What I want to do right now is watch chessy, classic christmas movies. I mean they are all so similar to each other. C’mon “Princess Switch”? I mean...I’m gonna watch it but the plot is so expected and I have seen something similar a thousand times(kinda). Let me explain. Too girls meet somewhere and the find out...yeah...that they are TWINS. And one of them is a princess. So they switch places but in the end the things get really complicated. 

Can I explain myself? Vanessa Hudgens is the main character...and believe me I love her. But it’s just an so ecpected movie. Anyway...gotta watch some TV shows... ‘cause they are never enough... BB guys.

Lili Reinhart is a fucking GREAT actress

In this Episode, she just nails it. She just plays both roles magnificently. While for example, Archie and his father aren’t very different or at least KJ didn’t play the roles very differently, Lili did such a goddamn well job really CONVINCING the audience of both her roles. I LOVE her as Betty, and I already knew she was good, but DAMN she really made me believe she was Alice and not just Betty dressing edgy. She was incredible. The mannerism? The tone? The movement that she OBVIOUSLY had seen Mädchen doing? Just, ADAPTING A NEW, ENTIRELY DIFFERENT CHARACTER PERFECTLY? Pure. fucking. talent. right. there.

Also that tongue thing? Makes me feel things aaaaaah

I’ve literally not stopped thinking about Lili and Cole in 3x04 all day, about how well they were able to truly showcase their talents.

Both completely morphed into their onscreen parents 90’s counterparts effortlessly; changing the set of their face or the way they walk, tiny little things all contributing to the finished product.

The episode was great for the whole cast, but being able to see Cole and Lili really stretch their legs and have the opportunity to do something like this has been incredible.

They’re remarkable individuals, but being lucky enough to see them act alongside eachother, in whatever context, is sensational.

The love I have for the two of them is ridiculous, but I think this week, that has been more than justified.

Did you think Laurel really loved Wes? I fet like their relationship was genuine and very precious, but that was before I found out she cheated on him. It’s heart breaking, but I’d like some opinion on Laurel’s love for Wes. Even though like what the others said, it’s mainly guilt talking and not love… *sighs sadly*

Diana here…personally, the way I’m looking at this ridiculous turn of events is it’s just Pete & the writers ruining everything and I’m not going to consider it canon. As far as I’m concerned, the show ended before Wes died (and before their stupid fight). So, yes in season 3 canon Laurel really loved Wes. She did not cheat on him, she would never do that. What we have now is a pod Laurel. It’s very sad and frustrating, but did anyone expect better from Pete? I had hoped he’d let her be this season before throwing her back to Frank, but sadly I was very wrong. 

(And sidenote, based on what people have said about that episode -that Laurel said cheating on Wes was the biggest regret of her life -I’m assuming they’re trying to portray still that she really did love him. But. Yeah. At this point they just ruined it & her character too much for drama nonsense)

because the white show runner is a racist who thinks it’s convenient to kill black people off for shock value and to further his shitty, dumb dramatic plots that no one gives a fuck about anymore.

you’re telling me that wes, the good-hearted black man, can kill one (1) person to save someone he loved and suddenly the fandom as well as the narrative paints him as the greatest sinner who deserves to be framed for everyone else’s crimes?

you’re telling me that fra.nk, a white hitman, can kill a handful of people without any good reason, including an unborn baby and a young pregnant woman, and still end up getting a shitty redemption ark?  

and you’re telling me that the baby might actually be frank’s? that laurel cheated on wes with the man who stalked and emotionally manipulated her? 

to see a young black man be brutally murdered for shock value was terrible enough, but disgracing his memory and the countless real people that felt represented by him, is just BEYOND disgusting.
