TransNeutral Flags (made to be similar to the transfem/transmasc flag)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Transneutral is a term used to describe a transgender individual who identifies fully or partially as a neutral, abinary, or unaligned gender. It can be considered umbrella term for individuals who transition to a neutral identity.
Transneutral is sometimes used, not as a gender identity, but as a way to describe anyone who undergoes a medical transition process that is not fully transmasculine or fully transfeminine- either through surgery, hormone replacement therapy, or other methods. Under this definition, individuals who undergo transition to attempt to appear more neutral would be considered transneutral, regardless of their actual gender identity."

Sometimes on days when I’m particularly brain foggy, I can’t be bothered to decide on what to eat, or come up with balanced meal choices. Especially at the end of the day, when decision fatigue is at its highest. So I made a Google Sheet that randomly generates meal ideas based on what I usually have in my kitchen. I saved a shortcut to the webpage on my desktop so it’s quick to open. (Here’s a template, which you can edit by saving a copy: tinyurl.com/mealrandomizer) The spreadsheet has two parts: (1) a list of ingredients organized by food group, and (2) magical Excel formulas that pluck one or two ingredients from each food group to give you a “recipe”– which is really just a combo of foods that cover your desired food groups. You can tweak the ingredient list to fit your needs: for example, I’ve set up the recipe to provide two veggie suggestions with every recipe, I haven’t listed olives because I hate them, I can easily make it vegetarian, etc. I’ve generated some laughable suggestions (how about waffles, cucumber, bacon, + peanut sauce….), but because I’m not beholden to a spreadsheet, I just chuckle and click again. I’ve found it a helpful guideline / source for ideas, so thought I’d share <3

cold peanut noodles!
amounts of everything are very subjective- make it as spicy or as peanut-y or filling as you want! this takes me about 6 minutes to make, involves heat and minimal stirring, and can be made with just a kettle or microwave. as its written here, it’s also gluten free and vegan you need: - one serving of noodles (rice noodles, ramen, etc) - some peanut butter, any type - hot water - soy sauce - powdered ginger - powdered something-spicy (anything from cayenne to black pepper, to taste) - honey, sugar, or similar optional but recommended: green onions, bean sprouts, any veg or protein steps: 1. cook noodles. set aside some (~1 tablespoon) of the hot water for later (or boil some more water in a kettle or pot). 2. rinse cooked noodles in cold water and set aside. 3. mix the hot water with a large spoonful (~2-3 tablespoons) of peanut butter, so that the peanut butter dissolves and becomes pour-able. 4. add powdered ginger, spice, honey, and soy sauce to the peanut butter, all to taste. i like mine very flavorful, so i use two shakes of cayenne, 3-4 shakes of ginger, 0.5 tsp honey, and approx. 0.5-1 teaspoon soy sauce (for a lighter version, begin with about half of all amounts and alter to taste) 5. chop your green onion and any veg or protein. for a single cake of ramen, a handful of toppings is enough. 6. mix your noodles, sauce, and toppings, and enjoy!

I have a pretty low spoons recipe that's a staple in Iranian breakfasts: noon-paneer, which literally translates to bread-cheese. Basically you rip a piece of pita (or any flat bread, really) to be bite sized, put some cheese inside (try it with feta or cream cheese), and eat it. Repeat until full.
You can eat it just like that, but there are so many options for your third ingredient: fresh herbs, honey, walnuts, jam, dates, fried eggs, tomato, even watermelon! It works with both sweet and savory flavors, so its easy to change it up and keep it interesting. If you have access to nondairy cheese, it can be vegan too.
I'm sure the idea of bread and cheese isn't super unique, but sometimes I find that making a whole sandwich can be exhausting. It's just easier for me to make a bunch of little portions, if that makes sense.

“want Live Action Janeway? then get tweeting to make it happen, because it’s up to you” - Kate Mulgrew
So she’s gone from teasing the possibility of Janeway’s return, to saying she actually wants to do it, to now literally asking you to please make it happen because Paramount will only do it if enough of us ask for it.
So when I say y’all better dust off your twitter accounts and get tagging the shit out of Kurtzman and all the Trek peeps, I mean DO IT! Captain’s orders! Because if we lose this opportunity after waiting 20 years for it then I will never recover.
