Thinking abt the last ep(s) of tma and wondering if Jon made the choice that he did because at least it was one where he KNEW what was going to happen. "Banishing" the fears was an unknown. No idea where they'd end up, if they ended up anywhere at all! Not a clue of what lay beyond the threshold of their own reality, expcept that is MIGHT doom another world to their fate. But really, they didn't actually KNOW. But Jon knew what would happen if he pushed the world to it's end, if he chose to trap them all there until the end came for them all. Thinking about how awful the knowing had to have been, and how much he must have loved it, even though he knew what the consequences were.

i think about gerry keay for a little too long and just go insane.

he's SUUUUCH a tragic figure and i just. lose my mind a little when i think about him for too long because god he didn't ask for ANY of this shit and as SOON as he got to start making his own damn decisions of all things it's CANCER that gets him

he was RAISED around leitners, around all of this creepy fucking supernatural shit and he dies of a brain tumor

AND HE DOESNT EVEN GET TO REST AFTER HIS DEATH BECAUSE GERTRUDE BINDS HIM TO THE FUCKING TRAPPED DEAD AND THEN HE ENDS UP HAVING TO PLAY GUIDE FOR TWO MONSTER HUNTERS FOR LIKE TWO YEARS

look the horror aspects might be why i never actually managed to make it all the way through season 5 but, god the casual tragedy of gerry and agnes and sasha and tim and his brother like. fuck dude

Idk i feel like there's a lot of potential for a Spiral/Eye domain. You're losing the plot, losing your mind, nothing makes sense anymore, and everybody's watching. Judging, they know the answer, they know how to get you out but they don't want to. You're the only one who's trapped here, we know better, maybe the problem is with you not the circumstances you were thrown into.
