Got Halloween Plans? Save the Date!
It’s time for immersive fans to give back.
Immersive theater lays bare our need and longing for authentic human connection. NYC’s eclectic galaxy of immersive theater productions has entertained and moved millions of audience members. From intimate experiences built for one person to six-story buildings built for 400 guests, in candle-lit closets, reimagined historic buildings, and surreal fantasy landscapes sealed into old warehouses, immersive shows help us connect to our deeper truths. Today, however, the people who lovingly made these experiences a reality for us are struggling.
We can’t attend live immersive events right now, but we can support the cast, crew, and staff of immersive shows who are unsure when their next payday is coming, who are no longer receiving unemployment stimulus help, and who have no idea when NYC theaters will open their doors to flesh-and-bone audiences again. Join us! Follow @losthalloween on Instagram and keep an eye out for more details about tickets (which will be pay-what-you-can including FREE), fundraisers, donations, performers, and more! Want to make an individual donation to the fund that will go directly to immersive staff, cast, and crew affected by COVID-19? Email [email protected] to find out how to make a gift today. More info on all of the above and move coming soon! - The Lost Halloween Crew

I am unsure of how this is worded but, do you mean the banquet? Because he slips it into Duncan’s pocket during the party/ballroom scene for Duncan to put on Lady Macbeth, which is the moment that Macbeth storms off angrily. Lady Macbeth puts the necklace back on when she gets dressed for the banquet, where she holds it out dramatically during the banquet, which is when BW gets it back.
How does Boy Witch get the necklace? He reveals it soon after the banquet and swings it around during the ballroom but I've never seen anyone give it to him
He gets it back from Lady Macbeth at the party while Duncan watches.
Thanks to @anightingalesangin for reminding me. For some reason I didn’t think he had it with him during the first half of the loop, but I guess he does.
(I can’t imagine doing the pool table solo with the necklace in your pocket!)

Strawberry Candies and other surprises
It’s always a good night when you wander past Paisley Sweets, and see red glittering jars catch your eye.
After grabbing a handful to snack on during the show, I made my way to the ballroom and was happily surprised to finally see Alec Funicielo in the hotel itself, as Malcolm. The loop was thoroughly enjoyable, as I always appreciate a Malcolm that knows a good detective is all about how he wears his hat. Here’s hoping that Jimmy Martel, or whatever he may call himself now, pops up in the Manderley, because after having seen him in “The Lost Supper,” and all of his entertaining appearances in the Follies, he will be a fantastic Man in Bar.

I could have watched for much longer than we did! My naming entry was “Evelyn Grey Whiskers III” but a friends suggestion was “MacFluff” and I definitely like that more. I want to know what other people wanted to name that kitty.

The best part of Sleep No More is discovering something new at every visit. There are a good amount of these hidden gems, tucked away in the set. Usually you just pass by, until one day your eye finally sees it. My favorite one was added to the set recently (the end of last year), and I loved being able to discover something new. (You can also find it in the Macduff’s Child’s Bedroom.)
Is there a list of "Easter eggs" that can be in the Mckittrick? For example, I LOVE the mirror gag in the MacDuff's room and want to know if there's anything else cool like that (or maybe it hasn't been discovered)
I have not seen a list, but I would definitely encourage you to explore. There are lots of things to find in the set.

Mayfair Drink Tickets

At least we can pre-buy drink tickets? I feel like the smart idea is to go in for more tickets as a group. No one wants to carry around their credit card at this party. This is highly encouraging spending more money than they use/or extreme drinking.

They do tend to lean on the hyperbole. Maybe if it were the Mayfair they were planning for last year, that they cancelled, would I get my hopes up. Certainly not after the last two parties, and especially not after the complete bore/rehash of past parties (👀 Valentines 2017) that was New Years. “Boundless live entertainment” lol. It seemed everywhere I went nothing was happening. But Mayfair always seems to bring out the best so 🤞🤞🤞
Suprises in DOZENS of ROOMS??? Wow. They are raising my expectations here! Okay, McKittrick. Bring it!

Two episodes ago featured shots on the block, and I thought “I know that awning.” (I love the gallery next door was turned into a store with a sale).

This week’s episode of “Broad City” is entitled Sleep No More and looks to have been filmed at our favorite hotel! I just saw a teaser on TV but can’t find it online so enjoy these crappy photos from my TV.
Set your DVRs! Thursday March 14 at 10pm on Comedy Central!

The Mckittrick is not usually left in the lurch at cast change. (Other times, due to unforeseen circumstances like injury and illness, yes). There was a new bald witch last night. Her name is Layne Willis Paradis.
Are there no bald Balds right now if Molly, Kacie, and Krista left?
There are definitely performers playing Bald Witch. Either three of the new people are full-time Bald, or someone (or more) of the current cast who swing Bald have switched so that Bald is their primary role.
(And just to head off the inevitable questions…no, I don’t know which it is yet. As soon as we do, we’ll update the cast list.)

I always love returning to the show and finding my eye catching something that I have never seen before. The fact that the props department always updates, repairs, and adds more details to the space is wonderful. (Not to mention how much I always love the holiday time, which I didn’t get a chance to write about this year).
In early December, I was following Lady Macduff, and the dollhouse in the child’s room caught my eye. To my surprise, there were shadow figures in the windows. In an utterly classic move, one of them was the haunting image of Danvers in the window of Manderley. The other was the pregnant figure of Lady Macduff. I was almost positive that I hadn’t seen those before, but I have no idea when they were added. I don’t normally spend too much time in that room, or closely looking at those props. But now I always have to look at that, it’s one of my favorite new things. (Side note: Has that dollhouse always been “Manderley” as a dollhouse for the Macduff child?)
On my last visit, instead of boxes that one could theoretically fill with candy, the very top shelf of Paisley Sweets now has jars filled with what seems like cherries? They look really nice when passing by the shop window.
Any fun things catch your eye?

Feb 3rd Sun Cast List
So today I think that the cast list could be longer that the last time
I still may make mistakes so if you went to the show and find something wrong in this list, please correct me. Remembering faces is still the biggest challenge for me
Man in Bar: Adam Griffith
Macduff: Jason Cianciulli
Malcolm: Marc Cardarelli (?
Duncan: Ben McHugh
Banquo: Matthew Perez
Boy Witch: Austin Dale Tyson
Porter: Jeff Docimo
Danvers: Risa Steinberg
Speakeasy: Jack Blackmon
Bar singer: Karen Marie Richardson
Also, Hecate could be Stephanie Jean Lane but that is sth I’m highly unsure. I just went to the rep bar once during the orgy and the light made me unable to recognize her face.
Some of the residents I didn’t recognize and some of them I just didn’t follow or didn’t see at all (for example I’ve never seen 6th floor).
It’s been another wonderful visit to the hotel and I’m already looking for my next visit
Cast list below but I do not 100% trust it⬇️

PSA: The Strawberry Candies are BACK.
And I mean the good kind that don’t get chewy at the end, and only unwrap at one side.
Last night I wandered into Paisley Sweets intending on digging through Mrs. Paisley’s Mix to find maybe one, when I noticed the unusual abundance of strawberry candies inside. This is when I noticed there was not only one, but THREE full jars. I went to town. (Thanks to good old MIB Roland for getting me hooked on these candies the one day he asked me to bring him one).
Thanks to the deciding factors that lead to the rediscovery of the candies by the purveyors of Paisley Sweets, my pockets were completely filled with wrappers by the end of the night. So PLEASE, keep the Strawberry Candies around??
Feel free to discuss your favorite Paisley Sweets Candy, but I know quite a few people who will also be happy to see their return.

I want all of these. Can they please just sell them in the gift shop? Can the McKittrick give these out as gifts to the fans? My first trip, my clothes REEKED of the fourth floor rubber scent so I would just love to have that one to sniff, and imagine that I’m getting lost in the twists and turns, and imagine I’m watching Bride, and Husband again.

The best gifts from the hotel, ever.
On the night of their 600th show and 2 years anniversary, every guest who attended the cabaret received a special gift from the hotel: a bottle of scent that is actually used in a certain room/space in McKinnon. Fans were very touched by this thoughtful gift. At that time, we had no idea how many bottles or how many varieties they gave out that night. Today their official Weibo and WeChat account announced that, there were in total 13 types of scent. As you can see from the picture, each of them has a special tag attached to the bottle. Here is a breakdown of each type, with translation of the tag, and my guess of which room/space is it associated.

Casting fears — Lady Macduff’s 1:1 room (package of salt)

The smell of scheme/conspiracy — Dining room

Bourbon and rubber — speakeasy bar

Rave climax — replica bar

Herb totem — Apothecary, herb room

Datura pattern — this one I haven’t figured it out

Demon’s eye — Hecate’s Lair

Rebecca — Agnes/Grace’s bedroom
(Reached limit of photos in one post. Will repost to add more.)

There are two different razors. The sharp razor that Malcolm uses to cut the paper in his office is reset into Agnes’ rooms by Speakeasy.
How did the razor Malcolm use to shave for Duncan travels back to Gallow Green?
I’m not entirely sure that it does. Ive never had a good look inside the locked razor box in Agnes room, so perhaps there are three pre-set? I’m not the best person to answer this question. Can anyone else provide an accurate answer?

Do you have the cast list for Nov 23 and 24? It's my first time for the show and I really cannot recognize the performers with pics on website.
No, I don’t. I was not there.
If you want to find a cast list for a specific night, sending a message to a single fan is not the way to do it. The odds that any one person went to the show the same night you did are low.
Instead, post the question on your own tumblr (make a new one if you want to be anonymous) and use the various SNM tags so that the fandom at large will see it. See tags on this post for the ones I use.
You need to reach the fandom at large and not just one person.
If you are curious about a particular performer, then again—post something on your own tumblr and tag it. Make sure to mention the date in question, the role, what you remember about what the performer looked like, etc. Usually the fandom can figure out who you saw. But again…a message to a single person is not the way to find success.
This has been a PSA from your friendly neighborhood SNM fan.
