probably an unpopular opinion: but i didn't hate this situation

stolas looked to blitz for permission. even after all the fighting and hurt feelings, he still cares enough to see if blitz is okay with stolas dancing with this guy, and blitz gives him permission.

stolas has never had any experience outside of stella and blitz. his relationship with stella was toxic, and he wasn't happy. his relationship with blitz has been solely built on sex, with a lot of stolas having to tiptoe around his own feelings. stolas never really got to experiment outside of his relationship with blitz, and with how blitz treated him, i think he should be allowed to do what he wants.

stolitz is endgame (ofc), but i see nothing wrong with stolas having his rebound and expressing himself. he's never been openly desired in such a way, and he deserves to explore that. if blitz is allowed to fuck other people, so is stolas.

also, this dude was nothing but nice to stolas, and i see no reason to hate on him. he's giving stolas an opportunity to have a kind of fun he's never had before. with stolas' lifestyle, he's never been able to attend a party just for the sake of having fun, dancing, and getting drunk.

can we please stop infantilizing stolas? just because his experience is limited, doesn't mean he's incapable of making his own choices. he doesn't need blitz, and i think it's important that he discovers himself more before the two of them rekindle their relationship. if he wants to party and kiss a guy, then so be it. if blitz did the same, no one would care—so let stolas fuck some random guy if he wants to!!

Time to fangirl about Helluva Boss: My predictions for "Full Moon"

Stolas wakes up. He's sick, he's nervous, he's conscious what day it is and what will could posibly go right or go absolutly and irremediably wrong.

We know the episode starts with the duet, so Stolas proceeds to vent his feelings the only way we've seen him be able to do: through songs. So they sing.

Stolas sing about being aware of the power inbalance in their... situationship. So he plans to give Blitz the choice to stay or leave. Of course, if Blitz choses to stay it would be perfect; but if he doesn't, Stolas would lose the only thing close to "love" he has.

Meanwhile, Blitz sings about keeping things the way the are. Of course, he doesn't like change. He's probably becoming aware of his own feelings but as long as they don't talk about it, everything will be fine, rigth?

After that, they're gonna show us IMP at the end of a job, using the grimoire (maybe) for the last time. And they are happy because everything is going up for them. Moxxie talks about how it would be disastrous to lose that but Blitz just ignores him 'cause he has somewhere else to be.

Bitz's suit has blood so he changes and goes to Fizzarolli for advice on how to please his high status demon so he can make sure they go back to how it was. And Blitz gets A LOT of things.

And finds Stolas waiting for him on the bed... but he's dressed? And so the torture begins.

Stolas is not good with words, we already know that. We also knew Blitz would take "the talk" as a subtle pitiful way of Stolas saying he doesn't wanna have anything to do with him anymore. And Blitz breaks. My boy tried to do, say and look his best to make this night special and turns out his efforts were in vain. Doesn't matter if he pushes people away because people will abandon him even when he's not trying to do so.

I've seen people theorize that Stolitz are gonna parallel themselfs when they were kids, with Stolas portaling Blitz to the tree where they played when they were little and confess or solve their problems there, but that's not the case. Here my evidence:

Look at the plants on the first background and the barely visible plant on the scene where Blitz is screaming at Stolas. It seems Blitz is chasing Stolas through the palace, but WHY? And here:

Right after Stolas portals Blitz away, we see a tree some believe to be the same as the one when they were kids, but it's actually one of the trees from the entrance. Stolas teleported Blitz OUT of the palace. Brandon has to agree at least we have this theory right.

For the red light on the corner, I assume this is from the same scene when they talk. Maybe he's not waiting for Blitz on the bed, maybe that's a completely different scene, but they DO have the talk in Stolas' room. Maybe this clip is first: he puts his hat on, ready to be professional so Blitz will take him seriously as he explains why they can't keep doing what they're doing the way they're doing it.

I have no idea what could Stolas had possibly said to trigger Blitz so bad to the point where he snaps (and maybe says some hurtful things) and Stolas ends it by teleporting him out. Maybe, in his dramatic solitude, the epise ends with Stolas saying: "Thank you, Blitz, for making me so happy even if only for a little while" as a form of closure.

Anyway, I give you nothing. I'm slowly spiraling into an abyss of delusion in order to survive the wait.

Something I’ve been pondering about Stolas and Octavia, especially since the mid season 2 trailer. So we as the audience know how unhappy Stolas is in his marriage. We saw his reaction to the engagement and Stella’s picture, how disengaged she was when Via was a child, the way she talks about him, and evidence that Stella has been physically and emotionally abusive.

We’re omniscient, we even know well before Western Energy that she’s hired Striker as a hit man. So we’re aware of how awful this relationship has been for Stolas.

Octavia isn’t. Stolas has been protecting her from Stella’s behavior her whole life. He’s done his best to give her the happy childhood he never got. Just contrasting the parent child interactions:

From the looks of it, Stolas has been taking abuse from his father and wife for decades, all while never letting his daughter know. Which is not at all unusual, for an abused spouse to hide it from their children. He’s kept Via out of the line of fire and has masked it so well she doesn’t even realize her parents have problems until the “Not Divorced” incident.

So from Via’s point of view, her dad has suddenly cheated on her mom who is screaming at him because she’s mad. Her dad is now acting bizarrely sexual and not giving her the attention she’s probably used to. We know that Stolas is experiencing a sexual awakening. He’s exploring parts of himself that many people would have as teens and young adults, not their mid thirties. That whole delayed puberty kicking in.

And we know from Stella gossiping with her friends that she and Stolas aren’t intimate. From the sounds of it, the two of them haven’t done the deed since Octavia’s egg was laid. So the girl is used to her parents being cordial in front of her, with no physical affection between them. That’s her normal.

Stolas suddenly hanging all over Blitzø, the dirty talk, him yelling back at Stella. From Via’s perspective her dad became a cheating sex fiend out of nowhere. Stella’s outbursts are probably common enough that the way she’s reacting doesn’t move the needle for Via. Unfortunately we haven’t seen Stella and Octavia interact yet. But Stella is enough of a narcissist that I’m sure she’s portraying herself in the best possible light in this situation, blaming Stolas for everything.

Meanwhile, Stolas can’t even manage to tell Via that her parent’s marriage is arranged, loveless, and abusive.

He tries but can’t verbalize what’s going on. Not that this excuses his behavior. The Loo Loo Land trip was such a disaster because Stolas wasn’t paying attention to Via. But Via is mostly in the dark about her parent’s dynamic. To her, her dad is the one suddenly acting weird and ruining the family. Stolas has insulated her so much from the worst parts of his life that she has no reference point for his unhappiness.

She’s genuinely confused about why Stolas hates Stella. And from the sound of things, Stolas continues to not talk to Via about it. He was hurt enough to be hospitalized for an extended period. But in the trailer we hear Octavia saying “You never loved mother and you don’t love me, you love him.” Which indicates that she’s still being kept in the dark. And she doesn’t know her dad was hospitalized because of the injuries her mom’s hitman inflicted. Stella is actively trying to kill Stolas and their daughter thinks Stolas is at fault.

Octavia is a sheltered teenager who isn’t being informed about what’s going on with the adults in her life. And Stolas in particular is keeping her out of the loop. He doesn’t realize that she’s growing up, becoming independent, and needs to know about what’s happening. Until she finds out the truth of her parent’s marriage she’s going to keep blaming Stolas. Maybe the trailer is faking us out but I get the feeling that the rift growing between Via and her dad is going to break wide open before they reconcile. I really hope Stolas will be able to tell her that yes, he never loved her mother, but he’s always loved his little starfire.

I assume this is just his theme or something, and most likely an already known fact in the fandom- but I didn’t know it and I wanted to share <3

I've seen people talking about Stella and I have a theory:

The way she said: "Oh, but I want him dead so badly:(", makes me think she grew up spoiled. I have this thought at the back of my head that Andrealphus was the one telling her shes gonna be -this- and do -that- which made her feel entitled. She's also very promt to violence, probably blinding violence, the way she dind't think of trying to take any advantage from the divorce, she only thought of getting rid of the man she no longer has respect for (even if it was minimun). And also, she was ready to slap Stolas (has that happened before? or it was an extra way of showing Stolas will no longer tolerate any abuse from her or the Goetias?)

Somebody said her design made it look like she was always wearing a weddin dress, showing her only purpose was to marry and birth an heir. Which is sad. Probaby the reason why they spoiled her. So she either thinks shes untouchable because she fulfilled her role and putting a target on a Goetia Prince will not bring her consequences or she was brainwashed into genuinely thinking that.

She's a victim just by being forced to marry someone she obviously didn't loved, but sh'es also not making anyone's life easier. She chose to continue the abuse.

I think she's evil and she was always meant to be evil (despite if the writers know how to write women or not. I don't know, so I don't really have a say). But until we know more of her backstory, everything we say it's just a theory to justify her behavior.

I’m sorry but Stolas emptying the entirety of his fridge onto the floor just to shove his lanky ass bird body inside of it because he’s nervous and freaking the fuck out has to be the funniest fucking thing I’ve ever seen.

This man is a PRINCE. this man is goddamn ROYALTY. He lives in the biggest fucking palace I’ve ever seen and the best place he can think to hide is inside his FRIDGE??? this is a thirty something year old father tucking himself away with last nights leftovers because he’s so stressed about his date with Blitz.
