No offense but can ya’ll like also normalize trans guys that DON’T bind.  Like there’s guys who don’t want to, choose not to because of the risks, and guys who CAN’T because of medical reasons.  Not every Trans dude is wearing a binder 24/7 and some don’t ever.

Hi everybody!

Normally I’m not able to deliver answers to lore questions because it involves consulting with the narrative team, and much of the time if they haven’t addressed something in game they’re reserving it for later or they would need to write it up (which takes a lot of time and consultation). 

But I’ve received a few messages about this, and wanted to get it cleared up because I know it’s important for real-world reasons, too: It is totally cool to roleplay an LGBTQA character, regardless of their species. 

We know that sometimes lore debates can involve speculative assumptions about what “makes sense” based on real-world prejudices and social structures, but that speculation isn’t more lore-friendly simply because some people in the real world hold terrible ideas. You’re free to create the character you want, and you’re not obligated to incorporate prejudice into their backstory if that’s not something you want to explore. 

On a side note, I answer a lot of messages privately but can only answer anonymous asks publicly, and so I err on the side of not answering those if it seems like the question is personal. We’ve also received a lot of kind and supportive comments that I can’t always respond to personally, but I pass them along to the right people. Thank you all! ฅ/ᐠ｡ᆽ｡ᐟ \
