honestly it warms my heart a little how much laws gone through and how he's still a little nerd boy who loves germa comics and ninjas and as a 26 year old ex warlord captain he's enchanted mid fight I just know he collects action figurines and I just know he'd play world of warcraft after his 19 hour shifts at the hospital and I just know hes sitting there at his work desk joining the call where his unemployed acquaintance luffy introduces him to the rest of the psychos I just know he volunteers at orphanages and pet shelters and he's got a little journal where he notes down lines from books he thinks corazon would enjoy

crying because Sanji stayed so many years unhappily at the Baratie since he feels like he owes Zeff his whole life

because Zeff did everything he could to piss Sanji off and push him away from his restaurant so he could follow his dreams

because of how much went unspoken due to how fucked up their shared near-death experience was and how deeply it affected them and their relationship

Sanji talking about it would bring up so many feelings of remorse for being the reason for Zeff’s sacrifice (and probably not feeling worthy of it because of stuff from his past)

Zeff talking about it might risk making Sanji’s shame and guilt too real and end up in him never leaving

just these two people who care about each other so much having to walk this thin, fragile line for so long

and not only was it holding Sanji back from going after what he wanted but it kept them from being able to do and say the things they most wanted and needed to express how much love they really have for one another

just thinking about how the reason one piece is so popular is because every single charachter on this show has enough backstory ambition motive and drive to BE the main charachter

think about it - zoro? yes. nami? yes. SANJI? YES. ROBIN?YES. ACE??? YES?? SABO YES??? KUMA??? YES??? LAW??????? YESSGEH. GARP? YES doflamingo I hate it but yes CROCODILE YES B..D BUGGY YES

and thats why it works so well, it's a culmination of main characters done right

April 28-29, 2024 - the CW sniper is dead.

Supernatural trends following the passing of the CW sniper. Whilst no official confirmation was published regarding their death, Misha Collins made a statement regarding destiel and since he's still alive, we can conclude that the CW sniper is no more.

The Cross Roads 8 Supernatural convention is currently taking place [x]. As usual, things have been said. There was one statement however which caused the tag to trend and it was (unsurprisingly) by Misha Collins, in response to a question asked by our bravest soldier @sunglassesmish [x].

I really don’t know how to explain to you that activism, community outreach, meeting important goals in the realm of social justice, and just generally living life is much easier under the presidency of an average democrat than a republican who was so outspokenly racist, genocidal, inflammatory, misogynistic, and violent that he may have permanently skewed the american right to the furthest extreme possible. I don’t know how to explain to you that the candidate who was so extreme that he brought neo-nazis into the mainstream political landscape needs to be kept out of any political office at any cost. even if it means voting for a center-left democrat who won’t personally sign off on your glorious revolution.

You know, that Mythbusters post legitimately changed my life. Before seeing it, I had exponentially more guilt and stress about not being able to sleep, which of course, further exacerbated my inability to sleep.

Now, every time I wake up about three am, knowing I have to get up at 6.45, instead of stressing and panicking about how my day is going to be sleep deprived and miserable, I just tell myself 'Time to activate Mythbusters Protocol' and lie there with my eyes closed safe in the knowledge that I am measurably reducing later feelings of exhaustion.

And when this happens, about 70% of the time the reduction of guilt and stress means I actually do fall back asleep, so all in all instead of getting only three or four hours sleep, I get five to six and a half.

Which y'know, major improvement in health and energy.
