“I think you would be good for Gen,” Ukyo said, earning a laugh from an amused Ryusui.

“Because of my wealth that would secure him an easy and comfortable life?”

“No… Well, that too, but that wasn’t what I was thinking. It’s because you’re so blatantly honest. I think Gen needs more of that,” he explained with a soft smile.

At that time, Ukyo couldn’t possibly know that instead of encouraging one of his main rivals for Gen’s heart, he had accidentally caught the interest of the man who desired it all.

Ukyo's Happy End 🍞

So usually Senku and Gen torment Ukyo thanks to his (sometimes unfortunate) super hearing. The thing is that once they start living together again, every time Gen is in the country, he will find some new trendy restaurant with a special menu he’ll want to try and Senku would simply agree to tag along because “why not”. What Gen wasn’t expecting was that whenever he got too excite about a certain dish, the next time he would visit, Senku would have learned how to prepare it. And although initially Gen was doing it just to have an excuse to go out together, it soon turns into a challenge to find a dish that Senku cannot learn how to imitate (or that’s what they say because its easier than admitting they’re just being cute with each other).

However, some dishes are more difficult than others, which leads to Senku calling Francois and asking them for tips. This leads to him talking with them more often, which eventually leads to Ryusui wanting to join in. As a result, Ryusui ALSO ends up learning how to cook and that leads to Ukyo enjoying even more delicious meals 🥰 

Go Ukyo, you deserve it.

Summary:

Ukyo does not get angry. He feels fear, or mild irritation, but anger? no, not Ukyo. He is the calm one, the level head to the four beast's roaring spirits.

So then. How have things devolved so fast?

“I will flay you if you move one step closer, Nanami Ryusui,” he says, eyes hollowed into frigidity. He holds out an arrow like a blade, and he radiates the message that his resolve is strong enough to use it.

I have no idea where the ship between Ryusui and Ukyo came from- pinterest gives few sources - but like, I kept thinking about it and I think they're really cute??

Uyko reads as a very shy gay, and Ryusui loves to voice his appeal for beautiful women (and Tsukasa🤔) so I can totally see him being bi and just not being attracted to men as often, so consider this interaction his gay awakening specifically for Uyko.

(also before someone comments on it, yes I did alter their appearances a bit - I may be an anime fan but I'm not a fan of everyone having the same nose and overall body types so yeah, I didn't do that)

Tangent: Deadass, Dr. Stone has legitimately become my favorite anime since airing- I keep rewatching it between seasons coming out so Science Future is feeding my obsession- I love the character roster and the plot fascinates me, especially as a world setting (definitely taking some inspiration for my personal projects) I'm so excited to see the finale animated,

Today's hot topic: Senku once got arrested by the police due to one of his experiments as a 9 year old. He was trying to launch his rocket. Byakuya Ishigami found it hilarious and was secretly proud of his son's genius.

Vaporeon Ukyo

So, I got so excited about the idea of making him use his own tail as a bow that I went a bit overboard with the design... But well, things happen when you draw your favourite character

I even drew a comparison of Vaporeon Ukyo Vs a regular Vaporeon, in case any of you were curious, the main changes are the colour swap of dark blue and white and the little dot marks that are made to resemble his eyebrows. Anyways, I had a lot of fun drawing him, so I hope you like it <3
