I’ve seen so many comments over the last year from other stans (mostly Harries) say shit about how Niall stans can’t talk about how he was/is an underdog or that he hasn’t been/isn’t offered the same opportunities/recognition because of Niall’s career now. And yet, within an article that is supposed to be celebrating ‘8 years of One Direction’, Niall’s name isn’t mentioned once. Not when Louis and Liam are mentioned as having tweeted about it, despite Niall tweeting too, NOR when Harry is mentioned as having finished a tour, despite the fact that Niall is still currently touring.

Don’t ever say that Niall stans aren’t allowed to comment on how Niall is mistreated, by fans or the media. Don’t ever talk about how Niall stans aren’t allowed to continue to refer to Niall as an underdog from 1D when he didn’t even get a single mention in an article about the anniversary on the anniversary of 1D’s formation. Just- Don’t. Because you no longer have any grounds on which to complain.
