Shibayama is a boy who does the initiation no I will not take constructive criticism on that. He’s a dude who wants to do what he can and will do it. Just give him like- 2 and a half minutes to muster up some courage

The couple is shy, but only to other people. Their courage is directly summoned only when it comes to their precious. Feel like you can’t go on in practice anymore? If you finish early maybe you can see your boyfriend! They both are usually the type to back down, but when it comes to things they really like they put up a nasty fight.

Don’t disturb them while eating. You will die. They never share their food and even only barely share food with each other. Especially if it’s their favorite. If you see either one stomping towards you knowing that you have somehow spoilt their lunch it’s over

When they have their couple moment you can just see the sparkles and roses around them. It’s a great rub in the face to those who are still single.

Shibayama got two brothers one older one younger (stolen borrowed from Stupid and Triumphant kugushiba fic on AO3 please read it) and Kuguri has two older siblings. When they out themselves to their siblings the reactions go something like:

Shibayama’s sibs - “how did you get a partner earlier than mE” “your hair reminds me of captain’s. no not that captain i mean the nerdy one. the one that hangs out with kenma.” “i don’t care who you date but if I see you coming home crying im getting grandma to beat his ass.” “can i climb you?”

Kuguri’s sibs: “didya bang?” “OOOOOO SHIT SOMEBODYS GOT A BOYFRIEND IM TELLING MOOOOM” “shut up you’re like 23 and you still haven’t dated anyone” “and you’re the pining idiot who can’t confess because you’re a disaster lesbian.” “yOU DIDNT EVEN HAVE A FIRST KISS WHOS THE REAL LOSER HERE?” “nE ways guri nice boyfriend, use protection.”

Shibayama is the epitome of the middle/younger child. Kuguri,, idk why I just think he’d make a neat youngest sibling. they both are Babey either way

ok skip this because this is like non canon and just my own like thing. KUGUSHIBA CHILDHOOD FRIENDS KUGUSHIBA CHILDHOOD FRIENDS KUGUSHIBA CHILDHOOD FRIENDS KU- I imagine they were besties from elementary to the second year of middle school but then one had to move away so they were separated for a year. and then comes round time where they have their first match against each other and they spot each other like, “!!!!!” course they don’t run up to each other yet but like after the match Shibayama profusely apologizes because why did their first physical meeting have to go like *that* but Kuguri just embraces shibayama coz even through tears he’s happy and sad

Kuguri knows Shibayama’s secret omurice recipe and no he will not tell you what is in it.

They both like to admire the sunrise because they can look at the sky and not be blinded by the sun

Kuguri visits Shibayama’s alleged grandma in the summer because “she’s super nice!” “you’ll love her chickens!” she lives in the countryside and she’s exactly like a vodka grandma. Kuguri walks into her rural countryside home surrounded by rice paddies and she’s sizing him up like hell. it becomes more intense each time he walks by and it’s safe to say he’s intimidated. he eventually does get to warm up to Shibayama’s grandma, but she keeps him on SIGHT.

in the end Kuguri gets sent a bag of rice every now and then from her
