Haru was not the one to wake up with some sort of grogginess, the only time she got that was when she was way too sleepy. Even so, it’s not enough to surpass her happy personality.
“Oh, so you were running? Tokaku-san does that sometimes too... Maybe you two should go together someday!”
The pinkette smiled brightly with her brilliant idea, not seemingly bothered by Chitaru’s smell (if she even had a strong one). With the other’s question, Haru bit another strawberry before lightly shaking her head.
“Tokaku-san is sleeping, which is a bit unusual for the time... And no, Haru is going to be okay! Haru doesn’t think it’s too dangerous, right now...”
-
For someone who didn’t wake up early often, Haru was still very lively. Chitaru had expected some sort of grogginess at the very least, but it seemed as though Haru’s happy go lucky personality was a force that even weariness couldn’t compete with.
“I see,” the redhead said as she watched the younger girl bite into what was presumably her breakfast. “I wake up early more often than not so that I can get some exercise in.”
Chitaru scooted back a fraction of an inch, upon realizing that her body odor might have been offensive. In her own opinion, she didn’t seem to smell, but that was probably because she was so used to herself. And she usually made it to the showers before anybody else woke up, so she could never confirm whether or not she had a strong body odor.
“But, is Azuma not with you? Not that you’re incapable of protecting yourself, but…don’t you think it’s still a bit dangerous to be out alone?”

Indeed, most people enjoy sleeping when given the chance. Normally, the pinkette would stay sleeping a bit more, waking up not long before class, just enough for her to take a bath and to dress up.
That day, though, Haru woke up a bit earlier and couldn’t bring herself back to sleep. The girl checked the clock and, with a yawn, carefully got out of bed and headed to the shower. She didn’t take a lot of time to be ready for class, even if it only started in an hour or so, so Haru decided to get out of her bedroom earlier this time.
Grabbing some strawberries to eat, she wandered aimlessly through the building. To be completely honest, the pinkette didn’t even realise that she was in the lobby until hearing a familiar voice. She turned to the other girl with a smile, living up for the ‘ever cheerful’ description.
“Good morning, Namatame-san! And no, Haru just woke up earlier than normal and decided to go out for a bit. Even if Haru enjoys sleeping...” - She chuckled slightly, biting one strawberry. - “But Haru didn’t know you wake up so early...”
Most people enjoyed sleeping in when given the chance, but the same can’t be said for Chitaru. Lounging around in bed was nice, she couldn’t deny that, but she’d much rather be productive with her time.
So every morning around 6:30 AM, she’d wake up as silently as possible (disturbing Hitsugi was on the very end of her list of things to do) and head over to Myojo’s track, in order to get some exercise. It wasn’t anything too strenuous - just a light jog - but it kept her in shape; a key aspect for anyone in her line of work. The fresh air and warm sunlight also did wonders for her health, ensuring that her morning jog was nothing short of a win-win situation.
With a sigh, Chitaru came to a stop. She’d been jogging for the better part of an hour (her panting a small testament to that fact) and knew that the poor souls who had physical education for first period would be coming out to the track soon. She could have continued with her exercise if she wanted to, but she felt a little guilty for taking up the track, especially when she wasn’t exactly a student herself.
Chitaru wiped the sweat from her brow with the back of her arm, and began walking back towards the dorms, a small smile forming on her lips, as she took in the early morning scenery. There was a certain beauty to be found in temporary solitude, she thought.
Keyword being temporary, of course, because there was someone that had recently lit a flame within her, and she couldn’t imagine life without her.
As Chitaru continued her trek back to the dorms, she noticed that several students were out, but that number eventually thinned to nothing as she got closer to the dorms reserved for the Black Class. That wasn’t unusual though, considering the fact that their dorm was a little farther from the main campus.
The entrance to the lobby eventually came into view, and before she knew it, Chitaru was within arm’s reach of the doors (which mattered little, since they were automatic anyway). However, before she was within reach of the automatic sensors, the door opened, revealing an ever cheerful pinkette.
“Ah, good morning, Ichinose,” she greeted with a smile. “Are you headed to class already? If I’m not mistaken, there’s still an hour left before Mizorogi begins his lessons.”

Shinya’s moonstruck smile appeared once again. Hashiri was right. She indeed changed.
“Everyone changes, Nio. Mahiru was the one who triggered this in me, but it’s for the best. I’ll have fun and entertainment in both, right?” - She let out a small laugh. - “I consider that I’m paying a debt. And I’m doing it for Mahiru’s sake. If she wishes me to do it, I’ll do it.”
A small sigh came out of her mouth when she finished the sentence. Did she really change that much? Probably yes, but the white haired assasin didn’t plan to go back on her words.
Moonstruck
-
“Same level? That would be interesting.”
Nio stayed in silence for a while, staring the endless night, and said.
“You changed Shinya, quite a lot or maybe I just didn’t know you well.” – The blonde didn’t speak much with Banba last year but she saw her actions through the cameras and even knew her past. – “The sadist and cruel Shinya I knew would have never teamed up with Azuma unless she considered it more “fun or entertaining” but something tells me that what is guiding you now is the moral… which didn’t seem an existing word in Shinya’s dictionary before.”

That’s the best you can do? Afraid of lights? Shinya couldn’t help but let out a laugh, looking up with a big smile forming on her face. How fun it was to piss off the pinkette.
“Lights do not break arms, as soon as I’m concerned.” - She looked Isuke directly in the eyes. - “And a bright light might even blind you, princess. You’re right, though. I shouldn’t bother with business from useless persons like you.”
Rooftop
-
She gritted her teeth by hearing another reply came from Shinya. All they exchanged were insults, or perhaps they would begin to clash weapon soon.
"At least I’m not afraid of lights," she spat. "And well, why do you bother to mind my business?”

Shinya couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. So the broken arm bothered Isuke that much? Good.
"Mama's order? And what business could your 'Mama' have with Myojo?" - The white haired girl covered her mouth with one hand as a joke, before talking back in the same tone as the pinkette. - "At least the trash here didn't get a broken arm, right, Isuke-sama?"
Her last words came filled with poison, determined to bother the other assassin. Truth is that Shinya is having lots of fun, and wouldn't mind if it evolved to a fight.
Rooftop
-
The pinkette’s brow twitched at the smug response. Her broken arm was a very shame to her name, as a virgin assassin defeated her hands down.
"No, I’m here just because of Mama’s order ♥." Isuke stated. "and Isuke won’t bother to miss anybody here, everyone’s just like a trash, well, like you two, Shinya and Mahiru ♥."

"I hop-"
Mahiru didn't even finish the sentence, screaming as they went down in the waterslide. It was not her first time in it, yet the reaction was the same as when she was with Haruki. She'd probably apologise for all of the screaming as soon as they got down, but well.
The white haired girl appeared again, breathing for some air and with a slight terrified look on her face. A small laugh escaped her lips, and she smiled a bit with the other's reaction.
"I-I'm s-sorry for the s-screaming... I-I d-didn't e-expect y-you to p-push us a-at full force..."

Mahiru held into Otoya's arms, seemingly a bit shaken. She loves the waterslide, but that does not make it easier when it comes to throwing herself in it. The white haired girl gave a small nod.
"N-N-Not r-really, b-but j-j-just give the push..."

"Oh, I really don't remember my classmate weakness. But I do remember one particular broken arm."
Shinya was intrigued as why the pinkette didn't leave, since she must be as bored as her. Maybe the other was just having fun with all of the sarcasm.
"Life outside of Myojo gets boring. Specially after we quite the assassination thing." - She turned her full body back to Isuke, paying more attention. - "What about you? Missed Haruki?"
Rooftop
-
"Oh really? I just happened to remember everyone’s weakness ♥," she snorted.
She checked her phone again and again, there was no sign of Mama called her back. She was about to head back to her room, but she was just bored as well in her room.
"Anyways, what brings you back here? I take that Mahiru hate love violence, hmm?"

"Oh yeah, you could. You could have killed me or worse."
Shinya let out one of her maniac laughs, soon after looking back at the blonde. She still didn't talk to Otoya? So maybe Azuma was with the advantage here.
"Never saw her fighting, to be honest, but I can't say much about being pure brute force." - The white haired girl's grin widened with Nio's last sentence. - "I'm sure she'll do something in the same level. You know our bluenette assassin as good as me, if not better."
Moonstruck
-
The blonde was glad to see that Banba didn’t take Nio’s deception so badly
“I know but I’m not a robot, I could have chosen another thing but I didn’t.”
Nio had considered Otoya before but she did not speak to her yet.
“Yeah, I’m sure she would be of help, although she may not be very thoughtful she is one of the best fighters here.”
The judge sighed.
“Well, the only one that may know how much time we have is Tokaku, as we have till she takes action… We already made our move, let’s see how she counteattacks.”

"I-I-I r-really d-don't k-know what you are talking about..."
Mahiru's nervousness was soon cut out by a small surprise scream when Shiena grabbed her wrist and started to take her to some kind of store. Mahiru-chan? She was spending way too much time with Otoya.
"B-B-But w-w-what's t-that store?" - The white haired girl didn't know whether to be nervous or confused.
Here again
-
"Uhm… yeah?"
Shiena’s eyes widened in surprise. Since it sounded absurd to her that Mahiru wouldn’t know about Hanabusa’s ‘adjustments’, she concluded that the girl simply didn’t trust her.
Shiena suddenly stopped, as she spotted a somewhat filthy store on the other side of the street.
"Let’s go there, Mahiru-chan~"
Her voice started getting overly cute, which she figured would be Otoya’s influence.
Woah. Déjà-vû.
Being the unpatient person she is, the brunette grabbed Mahirus wrist to get her faster into the building. She had to focus on determining whether she’d ask her at day or night, and she still wasnt able to tell whether the risk of approaching Shinya was worth it yet. Especially because she’d definitely call her ‘Shiena’ somehow.

Mahiru actually preferred going on the same one, since she wouldn't be brave enough to throw herself in it alone. The white haired girl smiled lightly with Takechi's words.
"B-Bonding... Y-Yeah..." - She shook her hand slightly, looking away. - "N-No problem, s-since t-the last time I w-was in the back..."
She entered the waterslide, holding herself still in it. It'd not be good if she just slipped and went without the serial killer. Mahiru looked back, waiting for Otoya to accompany her.

Mahiru took a sip of her grape soda before continuing.
"T-T-Taking c-care of Tokaku w-was Inukai's job." - She only then realized that Hitsugi was expelled before her attempt. - " W-We s-separated them, m-making d-deceiving Tokaku with the advanced notes."
The white haired girl had to admit, though, that Isuke's ideia had everything to happen smoothly. Upon saying about what she did, Mahiru unconsciously covered her face with a hand.
"A-As I said, I-Ichinose w-was smarter t-than I thought, s-so S-Shinya w-was overpowered. I-Instead o-of h-helping, s-she l-left m-me unconscious and tried to kill Ichinose on her own." - A small sinister grin flashed on Mahiru's face. - "A-And t-then Azuma broke her arm."
-
Hitsugi was slightly surprised when Mahiru didn’t talk about Tokaku. The younger girl thought the bluenette would be there with Haru. Did Tokaku decide to not help the former target?
"Just Ichinose-san? Where was Tokaku?"
Hitsugi felt a little bad as she heard about Isuke. The pink haired assassin didn’t really seem like the type to work well with someone.
"What did Inukai-san do?

"You were doing your job."
Shinya looked up thoughtfully with what the blonde said. She didn't had any idea of how much time they had until everything started to blow up, she only hoped it'd take a bit more.
"I know nothing about time, but I really think you'd have at least Otoya on your side. In the condition of her being able play with Ichinose a bit."
Moonstruck
-
Nio laughed and rolled her eyes.
“Sorry for that, but yeah we should hang out while we can.” – Spending time with Shinya was fun, she had feelings for other people but also a good sense of humor. It sure would’ve been nice to spend more time with some of the girls too.
“I wonder how much time we have till this begins and which side are the other ones going to take…”

Shinya couldn't supress a maniac laugh with Nio's poisonous comments. It almost felt like they were not assassin's getting prepared for a huge conflict, and only normal students gossiping.
"Heard what?" - Shinya gave the other a playful smile. - "We should really hang out more, while we can. It's fun to pass time with someone, without having to discuss plans and more plans."
The white haired girl spoke one more sentence, giving some spacement between words. The tone she said it could be even compared to Isuke's normal voice tone.
"Even if they try to make you fall for some kind of manipulation."
Moonstruck
-
“Well yeah but it seems that our dear prince have some weakness for odd girls, first the 9 year old snake and now the sadist serial killer.” – Nio felt pleased with having a gossip in the black class that has nothing to do with something strange or dark. She had plenty of gossips outside the black class but actually she couldn’t care less of the other normal girls of the Academy.
“Anyway you didn’t hear it from me.” – She said looking to Shinya’s eyes.

Shinya turned to look at the blonde, a surprised expression on her face.
"What? Namatame and Otoya?" - Her maniac grin appeared once more. - "So Romeo betrayed Juliet? I'm afraid our beloved serial killer classmate will end up like Kenmochi last year..."
The white haired girl couldn't help but feel a bit bad for Hitsugi. She was friendly enough with Mahiru, and it was already enough to make Shinya symphatize with her, and she really loved Namatame...
"I must say, it's strange. The prince always seemed to be completely lovestruck for our Angel Trumpet..."
Moonstruck
-
“My death? I would manage to survive someway as I always do.”
“Not a secret hmm?” – An image came directly to Nio’s head – “Well Otoya and Chitaru were way too affectionate with each other, if you know what I mean…” – The blonde said with a mischievous smile. – “I can’t wait till Hitsugi finds up, she may end up poisoning Takechi but I’m sure she would put up a fight.”

Shinya raised an eyebrow when she heard the blonde call her a friend. Was that just a manipulation like the last time? The white haired girl was not an idiot, but she had quite the feeling that Nio really got lonely from time to time.
"I can't say I dislike you either, and we can be friends, y'know?" - Once again, the maniac smile. - "Though there will be no friends when everything blows up, since it'll end up in either my death or yours."
Shinya smirked with the girl's wink. Truth was, she really didn't knew if she was prepared or not, only that she felt in debt with Tokaku and Ichinose and had to pay it somehow.
"Yeah, I really better be." - She laughed soundly. - "By the way, did something interesting happened recently? Something that is not a secret, of course?"
Moonstruck
-
Nio tried manipulating Banba in the past, playing the role of victim so Shinya would take her side but she has already made a choice. Part of what the blonde told her was truth and she did felt lonely but anyway she knew how to handle her life without dropping a single tear.
“I’m glad to hear that cause I really like you, it’s a pity we are in different teams but I consider you a friend anyway.”
The judge wondered what Tokaku and Haruki may be planning and what other allies they may have…
“Yeah, you better be prepared” – Nio winked.
