           the mask has never been an issue for speaking, but when lorelai begins to relay-- rather than question; he finds a part of himself wants to unmask to 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 her own exposure. pink fabric tucked over his nose, exposing the bottom half of his 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞. ( there's a small scar above his top lip. old, it seems. it brightens up when he speaks. )

" kabiguru leans a bit as he speaks, quieter, down to 𝐀 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐑 as if pushing towards letting out a secret. " i think i might just know a place where you can find clams that have even 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗥 pearls . " he's practically grinning cheek-to-cheek.

it isn't often that lor finds herself a little stuck on knowing if someone was serious or not, but that feeling itches here under her skin. maybe it's because she holds the little gift in her palm, very much unused to getting without giving. the siren sniffs. ❝ you're kind of weird. ❞ it doesn't sound like an insult.

kabiguru gets nervous when it comes to objects of importance. he’s a very solitary person in that manner— it’s one of the few things that he is very hesitant to tell others about because he’d rather keep their safety and preservation to his own task. his most personal belongings stay in his room, where they reside safe and sound. his parent’s prayer mats, his father’s keychain (retrieved from the crash sight), his mother’s wedding ring (retrieved from the morgue), his aunt mai’s photo of her when she was 24 at a bar with her girlfriend at the time, gene’s fashion notebook, harlan’s business card from when they first met. many more other things— of which i would gladly talk hours on.

love spending my time thinking about multiversal shenanigans because can you just imagine kabiguru's whole potential in the grand scheme of the universe being uprooted because he sacrifices himself in the place of one of the younger spider-folk (cough, cough, miles, cough, cough) because he never wants them to have to make the choice of putting their lives at the sake of the unforgiving universe.

is there any question that kabiguru's favorite color is pink ? it simply is and always will be ! it's simply a preference he has, just as any other person might with their favorite color-- and he likes to add it to his daily clothing. his uniform at oscorp is a labcoat over a button-up and dress pants and he makes it a point to have an arsenal of pink shirts he can wear. it adds a little bit of flair to the day ! besides pink, he also really likes the color purple and midnight blue-- which you'll also notice is apart of his wardrobe.

oh, his spidey-suit ! he can talk someone's ear off with all his appreciations for his suit. in regards to his current suit, as whip-web, i've mentioned in the past that the people most responsible for his suit are his aunt mai, gene, and the east village contagion ladies. one of gene's old fashion designs served as the basis for the suit, the contagion ladies (the name of a major protestor group against oscorp that mai was apart of previously) helped supply tech and fabrics, and mai -- who was the one who installed the neural chip that links his suit's tail to his spinal network, since she was the only one he could trust with his mind. his spider-suit is an endeavor of love, protest, and memory. to him, it is the most sacred thing he owns. it will be a very hard day to be a villain when you know you've messed up his suit.

refer to the image above. jokes aside (and by jokes i mean expressions i love) and to actual meta, family isn't blood-related for kabiguru-- it's bond-driven, and what bond he forms, kabiguru will do everything in his power to keep from being torn apart. if kabiguru has decided you are one of his people, you are one of his own from the moment he's drawn air to the moment he can no longer and beyond that. as for family family.... i think kabiguru's dream idea of family is a home where, even if they are not his own children, can trust him to show them all the love he has as their father.

besides the whole existential crisis of not the only version of yourself in the whole wide universe and the great sinking dread that keeps kabiguru from falling asleep at night at times, the multiverse has inevitably ended up being a beneficial thing for kabiguru in the long-run. after coming to earth-616, i feel like the sinking stopped because he realized why that despair was there-- because he's always feared what would happen after he died. what would happen to his family, to new britain, to his earth, to his people; and now he has people he can trust will care for the people of his world same as their own. he's made quite a few close friends from earth-616, but i won't talk of them quite yet-- kabiguru doesn't kiss and tell.

kabiguru doesn't believe it. hand to heart-- i truly don't believe he does. i think kabiguru's been very accepting of a lot of miguel, and adjacentally, LYLA's theories on canon events and anomalies; but kabiguru simply can't find it in any part of himself to believe that miles could be the "original anomaly". at what point was his universe meant to collapse if that was the case? the week after spot? the week before? months? days? years? it all begins to fall apart too much when kabiguru inspects it under a microscope; and especially more when he talks to the kid himself. he's a boy, he's just a boy. a teenager with so much heart and determination and responsibility-- and he's kept to it, more than any boy ever should, and while he won't ever call miles a kid to his face, he's just a teen; and he's survived this long, so at what point is he an anomaly or... simply the exception?

hobart ' hobie ' brown is so unbelievably cool that kabiguru is jealous of him for his younger self's sake. that is to say, as a 32 year old man, he looks at hobie and feels an unbelievable amount of pride looking at him do what he does. a young black teen in a capitalist society that grinds people like him into the dirt who is surviving, who is thriving, who is fighting. hobie always has a home in kabiguru's home if he ever needs it, a shoulder if he requires it, and a whole lot of underground shows to be invited to if he needs a venue. kabiguru may not have been able to be hobart when he was younger, but for his younger self's sake, he wants to ensure hobie always gets to be himself when he's around kabi.
