Reading the essay from @taylorswift was so relatable. For one, I LOVE the Dixie Chick's late '90s early '00s work. But also, being just a few years behind Taylor in age by the time her CDs come out I'm only about a year younger than whatever age she is was when she wrote them so my experiences are happening about the same time.

As a teenager I dated a few guys who treated me badly and tried to dump it on me, tell me they'd change. I can't hear "White Horse" without getting emotional.

Regardless of the men, I thought I was happy and in love so I'd sing "Hey Stephen", "Mine", "Long Live", and "Our Song" constantly.

I'm such a romantic, even if they hardly knew I existed I'd dream about the day that my middle school crush would realize I'm there. "Tim McGraw" and "You Belong to Me" were a must.

2 years ago I was going through a broken engagement right when the new Reputation CD let out and one of my close friends dating him I sang "this is why we can't have nice things" and "bad blood" with a lot of heart.

Late year I had my first relationship since then and I happily sang "call it what you want" as the guy helped me move past everything and showed me how I could be treated. "Begin Again" was also a favorite.

This year I'm traveling Australia I met an amazing guy (the previous guy and I didn't have anything serious, I had this trip planned already and we didn't want long distance. But he was what I needed at the time) he is from the Netherlands and I call him a bear because the Dutch language sounds like a bunch of bears growling at each other sometimes, it's so cute I love it. Obviously, "gorgeous" must be played. Believe me, he is. "King of my Heart" too, cause he calls me his crazy American woman 😊 he is someone I found worth doing long distance for, so let's see if he is the one I've been waitin for 🙃
