Let me take a second to praise Youth

...a song I already liked a lot but now love even more because of how Yunho and Mingi perform it. I love the opening skit with Yunho and Mingi calling each other from payphones the night before their auditions (unknowingly, both for KQ); I love how the song showcases their respective vocal ranges; I love that we get a Gene Kelly/Donald O'Conner-esque dance break filled with moments of gleeful interaction and ad libbing; I love how it's a song about THEM, their friendship, their journey, the struggles and the joys. I love how the lyrics are depressing as fuck but the music gestures towards hope. I love how Mingi wrote it about and for himself, but invited Yunho to collaborate because there is no Mingi without Yunho.
