bring back the habits that made you happy as a child. there’s no reason you should ever have to give up harmless things that bring you joy. you don’t have to age out of having fun. finger paint. write mediocre fanfiction and questionable poetry. put chocolate chips in your waffles. sing in the bath, and while working in the yard, and while washing your hands. hammer tunelessly on a piano. spin in circles until you fall down. climb a tree. just because you’re now in charge of your life doesn’t mean you’re expected to give up on the things that make life feel worth living

I love me in all of me
I love when my mind is on a rampage and I squabble to find a place to sleep my thoughts into
I love when I spill my coffee and sigh a heavy burden as I clean it, or the time when I watch a rom-com movie and pathetically sob for the second lead
I love when I try to write something but the feeling never turns into pages so, I frantically search words after words to connect the dots
I love when a random song plays on a radio and I get all nostalgic, mushy and puff, I burst into tears
And I absolutely love when my nearly dead plant sprouts leaf of life, or the way I stumble upon a long lost memory and roll onto the floor with giggles and laughter
I love when it’s cold outside and I am wrapped up in sweater, underneath the blanket, feeling utterly disappointed to raise up, only to close the door
I love when its 3 am and wail of anguish floods form my eyes and I try to brush it off playing cool, surrendering to sleep
I love when some chores on Sunday afternoon become a long session of ballad, while they are just series of puttering on any regular day
And I love it when I get all excited only to forget what I was about to say and fall into slumber of thoughts
But I love all of it even more when I recollect all of life on a warm summer night with a glass of sweet, bitter wine and fill the pages with memoirs.

There will be days when you don't want to get out of bed, sad and horrible days, but please don't give up. Don't give up for the sake of others, but for the sake of us. We've already been through a lot. Rest, calm the turmoil within you, and experience magnificent things once more. Keep in mind that you are adored.

Quote
I want to talk about what happened without mentioning how much it hurt. There has to be a way. To care for the wounds without reopening them. To name the pain without inviting it back into me.

escapes for when you feel anxious
exploring a flowery town with cute villagers
drinking a milkshake in an empty diner at 3am
real life that feels dreamlike
cute sunflower field dates
in love with the universe
softest love songs
living inside an 80s tv show
drinking tea on a cozy raining morning
you’re an angsty teen in a coming-of-age film
summer road trip in the west coast
vacation in san francisco
living in an old French film
stargazing and contemplating the meaning of life
late night drives in a 90’s movie
watching a beautiful sunset over the beach with someone you love
feeling dazed and drifting off under dreamlike sunlight
going to the beach in a camper van in 1960′s california
collecting whimsical music-boxes and taking pictures of clouds in paris
falling asleep on the moon
city lights at midnight
half dreaming, half awake in faded 60s sunlight
remembering someone else’s memories like they’re your own
being the guardian of a snowy forest who befriends wolves and takes care of baby fawns
being in a vintage fairytale
wandering the avenues of vintage New York City
living in a cinematic landscape and watching over a magnificent scenery
exploring an art museum
eating fruit in a small italian seaside town
