Aubrey was mesmerized by Max. She know that she loved him but she couldn't bring herself to say that simply because she felt like it was either too soon or will be as awkward as that one time she accidently said it before they even started dating. "Is that so?" She asked looking at their rental as she then glanced back at her boyfriend, she appreciated everything the male was doing for her, she was grateful. "It is," She said as she walked with the male into the cute cabin, "Oh fuck off, " She joked while glancing at the male as she put on her bikini, "I can't thank you enough for taking me here," She said as she got closer to the male and kissed him once again.

He laughed lightly at her reaction "To be honest it was hard to find one that was... as simple as this" it wasnt a normal house but it wasnt that grand and fancy too. It had three bedrooms that was a small as he could get normal rest of the house on the beach. "so many had pools, game rooms and like bars and we dont need that" it wasn't that sort of trip for them. "But lets change" after traveling all day he wanted out of the clothes. He walked inside with her and towards the master bedroom "It is pretty nice" he said as he opened the suit case and got out his suit and quickly changed "Better hurry it's such a long walk" he teased as he watched her. @aubreymillerx

"I bailed on you as well, Apollo, both of us probably had a lot going on and it's okay, I get it," She said assuring him that she was indeed fine, "Aw, stop it," She said giggling as she pulled away from the hug and leaned back against the couch, "Oh god, we do," She said shaking her head while still smiling, "Yes please!" She said raising her hands in the air, "I'll drink anything with ice in it,"

"That's true but still, I feel terrible for bailing on you. I've been a bit preoccupied myself and while it's no excuse, its a good thing this time." He chuckled, shaking his head, arms wrapping tightly around her waist. "Nothing beats an Aubrey hug." Apollo chuckled, pulling back after a few more seconds. "I've missed you too. We have a lot to catch up on it seems." He wasn't sure how fast news traveled or if anyone knew yet about him and Ben and even though he had told him he didn't want anyone to know, he felt sure that he could trust Aubrey. "Hold on, let me grab you a drink and some plates."

Max looked like a happy kid in a candy store and she probably looked even happier. She couldn't believe that someone would do something like this for her and surprise her like that, "Normal? Jesus, I wonder how the luxurious ones look," She said giggling, "Should we change into swimwear and run to the beach?"

He smiled at her for a moment as he looked at her.Happy he found someone he got along with and could care for. He did with his ex for a while but it wasn't a good thing it was lust and them being dumb. But Aubrey he felt amazing around. He laughed as he looked around "This is a normal rental" he said as he walked inside with her. "That I got it off one of the online rental sites" it was a bit but really not as bad as you would think. The normal home rental when you had to clean up after yourself and not leave a problem. @aubreymillerx

Apollo was a good friend and obviously, both of them had a lot going on for them Aubrey couldn't blame Apoolo for drifting apart a little, because she did the same due to whatever happened in the past two months, "Oh come on, we're adults, we have our lives and sometimes there's not as much time for friends as we want to, right?" She said placing the pizza on the living room table as she sat next to Apollo, giving him a hug, "I've missed you very much, Apollo!"

Apollo had been spending so much time with Ben lately, ensuring he was okay, that he had neglected his other friends, namely Aubrey. They had recently reconnected and she was the closest to a best friend that he had and he hadn't spoken with her since the festival. He had invited her over for pizza and a movie, although he doubted they would actually watch it. "In the living room!" He shouted, getting up off the couch to greet her. "First of all, I'm sorry for disappearing. A lot has changed since the last time we spoke."

Aubrey was so glad to have Apollo in her life once again. He always made things right and been there for her in time of need, she sure hoped he saw the same in her. She entered the house with a big box of hot pizza between her hands, "Apollo? You're here?" She asked looking around for him, "I brought us some food!"

"Well, well, well, hello to you, beautiful lady," She said to her unlikely friend Sarah. They weren't friends exactly but both of them didn't seem to mind the other's company by all means, "Are you free by any chance to grab a cup of coffee?"

He did tell her that but the surprise was so big she couldn't believe it was happening to her. No one had ever cared and listened like Max before, she felt like the luckiest girl around, "I'm sure I will," She said smiling sweetly at the man she was falling for, "Wow," She said as she laid her eyes on the house the male rented, "This is insane, I am like a stupid fan girl right now!" She said laughing.

He smirked at the other for a moment "I told you to be ready for a big nap didn't I?" he teased as he looked at her with a smile. The short flight they both did stay awake but the second both did nap. "I thought you might" he teased her as kissed her "It is" it was starting to get cold back home so this was very nice. But a short acar ride later they arrived at the house and Max smiled. "I hope you like it..." @aubreymillerx

"I never blacked out like this before! I am shocked myself, believe me," She laughed as she followed Max around as they waited for their car to set up. "Oh god, someone's getting lucky tonight," She said giving the male a wink. She couldn't help it, Max did everything right and it just gave her butterflies, "It's a beautiful day to go to the beach for sure,"

The plane rides were long and took pretty much a full day of travel. Between talking, eating and sleeping the time went by for them. But he was glad he was doing it with Aubrey.

He smirked at the clapping "You pretty much did sleep a lot., and we ate " he smiled at he as they waited a little and got off the plane and quickly got their baggage. "shoot it's already hot " he laughed. As they waited for their car he had set up. "I may have picked a nice rental on the beach..." not even a hotel. @aubreymillerx

Once upon a time, Aubrey didn't even acknowledge a good deed and now she defiantly did and she felt grateful for the kindness of other people. Yes, people can be awful but this one could've taken her wallet instead he brought it back to her, "Nice to meet you, Alaric, I have to thank you somehow! How about a hot cup of coffee?"

"It really is fine," Alaric said, though now his words were carried by a gentle chuckle as blue eyes rested on the stranger. "You're most certainly welcome." His words were uttered lowly, almost unwilling to accept genuine gratitude for such a minor act, albeit its given kindness. "Alaric." A hand was offered in terribly formal manner. Aubrey could sense something off about Lisette's attitude but the two didn't know each other well so maybe it was just her attitude and nothing more, "You did? Oh god, I guess we both married the wrong ones...you're dating anyone new?" She asked keeping her little smile, "I visited LA literally once and it was awful so yeah, I understand why you left,"

It looks like they had two things in common. Their connection with Max and the sting of divorce. Was now really the time that Lisette wanted to speak with her about it? No, not really, but as long as she kept it vague, maybe she wouldn't have to approach the topic with her today. "I went through a pretty bad divorce. Married someone who clearly wasn't ready to be a husband.--Also, Los Angeles is getting run over by influencers and I wanted to slow the pace of my life down. So here I am."

Aubrey felt like a child learning about life again as Max provided her a new perspective on love and relationships. The last relationship she was in was something entirely different and not in a good way. Sure, at first, when she heard about Max's past she couldn't wrap her head around it but while they were good friends before they became a thing it only helped her get to know the male. Aubrey smiled through her sleepy eyes as she fell deep into sleep. She wasn't sleeping so well lately, so wrapping herself in Max was a huge help.

Aubrey's eyes opened when she heard clapping as they finally landed in Bali. She got up, and rubbed her eyes, "Are we already here? Was I out for the whole damn flight?"

He would love to have good time with her on the plane. But it wasn't what they needed. But once they got to their place on the island they be alone and it would be amazing. He smiled as he hugged her back and then gave her a kiss. "I mean can you ever" he teased her he wrapped his arms around her as the flight took off. @aubreymillerx

Aubrey was of course joking even though both of them know that they couldn't get their hands off each other. Their attraction and passion for each other were crazy, "Well, I'll be fine with just kissing and sleeping next to you," She said hugging the male as she kept looking up with a sweet smile, "Okay, okay, I'll shut up now," She said as she close her eyes and fell into a deep sleep in Max's arms.

Max laughed as he learned over to give her a kiss. But he knew it would not go well if they did. The plane wasn't that big and they could not fully hide "and my friend may have done it and now he banned for life sooo" he knew that was not worth it. "It dont matter" he smiled at her. He worked hard for years he had good money. "But it wasn't like a trip back to LA" he teased as he looked at her. @aubreymillerx

Aubrey and Lisette never had any close kind of relationship or a relationship at all for that matter, "Really? The last time I heard about you I heard you moved to LA, what made you come back?" She asked as she could already sense that the girl in front of her was a bit sour towards her and wondered why, "I've been fine, left New York after a divorce and moved back here with my daughter Aurora, you know same old same old,"

With a very strong hot espresso in her hand, Lisette walked away from the cafe. She had only a few hours before her first yoga class of the day, so she felt as though now was the perfect time to expand her wardrobe and do some shopping. The moment that she spotted Aubrey, she wanted to turn around and head the other direction, but it was too late. By the time her heels began to turn, she heard her name slip from her lips. She remembered her. Especially after her friend messaged her a tabloid story featuring Aubrey and Max. With a forced smile on her lips, Lis decided to be nice, at least for now. Afterall, Aubrey did nothing to her. "Yeah, I've actually been around but just laying low. I remember you, Aubrey. It's good to see you...How have you been?"

Aubrey's head was always somewhere else and she always tended to lose everything around her and this time it was her keys, "Oh, believe me, with my luck all I can say is thank you!" She refused to let it go and truly meant it, "I'm Aubrey by the way? And you must be?"

Gusts of autumnal wind blew cold kisses against his cheeks, stroked through short strands of brown hair as he neared with another cautious step. His hand held the keys she'd lost and a shallow smile played around the edges of his lips as he extended his arm to offer them back to their owner. "Oh, it's nothing to thank me for, honestly," Alaric spoke, his voice a gentle sound against the whispering wind. "You're welcome." @aubreymillerx
