I think there's a possibility that Lego Monkie Kid will be cancelled, I saw it on Twitter. I was wondering if you'll be moving to a different fandom or staying in the fandom if the show gets cancelled? I hope the show survives :(

Not yet, but it's like this:

Nawa and Ink make a deal (he's using MK's visage for extra influence on her.)

Nawa names him Bō out of kindness.

Bō actially gets attached, but to an unhealthy degree (more akin to an owner and a pet, or a solver and their Rubik's cube. Romantic feelings are a maybe, but it's not important.)

In an attempt to 'solve' her, figuring out why each time he peers into her history he gets a different or contradicting result, he resorts to possessing her. It's like forced marriage/union.

Bō taunts him about Nawa projecting MK into Bō. Or her resorting to seeking Bō for help instead of him.

Lucky's the equivalent of a healthy Azula. Not insane, but definitely someone petty and would ensure to get back at someone if they did something against her.

Kris would just try to charm his way out of it. I doubt he'd get bullied because he's like Vico Sotto (the politician everyone likes for actually being helpful.)

Pan would be the most likely to get bullied though. Mostly because she doesn't really care. Physical bullying won't work either. Her uncle literally throws her through mountains, which usually leads to her asking for more.

It's more like... the classic case of puberty and rebellion.

You'd be correct. Pan is just friendly to everyone. No one will match Pan's favoritism towards Wukong though. If she had to pick between her siblings and her uncle, she'd beeline straight towards him.

anyways, the "shell" i'm referring to is her humanity!! it's the part of her that is 'selfish' (aka, the capability to love personally; either familial or romantic). it's what makes nawa nawa.

delete this humanity, and all that will remain is 'selflessness'. love without selfishness means that she won't be able to form any attachments, fears, and doubts– devoid of emotional connections that a normal person would have.

yes she would have compassion, empathy, and care– but it wouldn't be personal. it would be more detached– she wouldn't be able to connect with others in a personal level.

okay so there's concept in buddhism (forgive me, im trying to remember master's words and the books they lend me in class). the basic gist is that as long as you have attachments, you will continue to reincarnate over and over again. depending on ur karma or the stuff u did in ur past life, you can get reborn as different beings ranging from animals to gods.

samsara's the cycle of reincarnation. the thing ur trapped in until u eventually get enlightened. nawa has the small potential to become enlightened, but she's still attached to mk to the point it tethers her to this cycle

The closest thing would probably be Yuji Itadori's situation.

But since living as Lucky is punishment for all the bad stuff she's done in her previous life, probably no because it would just lengthen her punishment. Plus she's actually grown fond of the kid.

As much as she'd like to be petty against her father, there's nothing much to gain from doing that.

Hell, she might even try to convince Lucky to become monastic just to repay the bad karma.

I have two questions sir!!!

1. How old were MK and Nawa when they became parents?

And 2. If MK became immortal in the show, what would you do with Nawa's storyline? Would she became immortal too? And their kids?

1. 25 and above! I don't see them settling early, and Haoran is kinda an oops baby.

2. There are two ways this can go.

If there are no kids– reincarnate. MK's her greatest earthly attachment, so she's stuck in samsara as long as he exists.

If the kids do exist, realistically, Pan's the only one who would actually be just as immortal. She'd probably be the only kid he has (not counting his kids' descendants).
