"I could eat this every day. That's how good they are." Audrey chuckled. "But then I wouldn't have energy for anything else so it's a good thing waffle day it's not every day." She said as she cut another piece. "That's true. But too much coffee is not good either. When do you clock out? Got plans for the rest of the day?"
"Whew." Zane laughs, wiping imaginary sweat from his brow. "Well, thanks. I'm glad you like them." He adds, offering her a smile. "It's good. I'm good though, thanks. I had a coffee before I came out here. You and I both know I need all of the caffeine I can get."

"I must say I don't envy you, bud." Audrey said in a light-hearted tone as she looked at Zane, playing with her fork until she was ready to cut a piece of waffle again. "They're as great as everything you do in the kitchen, don't worry about it." She comforted the guy. "How long is your break? Want some of my tea?" Taking into all the things Audrey had order, the tea was the only healthy thing in sight. "
open to: anyone! location: night and dine event: waffle day
"If I never make another waffle again after today, it won't be soon enough." Zane jokes, plopping down into the booth. He was on his break and say a familiar face at the diner and thought he would come say hello. "Kidding, I'm kidding. Please tell me the waffles are good, I think I've lost my ability to judge at this point."

if you’re hearing ELECTRICITY by DUA LIPA playing, you have to know AUDREY DEVEREAUX (SHE/HER; FEMALE) is near by! the THIRTY-FIVEyear old P.E TEACHER/SPINNING INSTRUCTOR has been in denver for, like, SIX YEARS. they’re known to be quite VAIN, but being VIVACIOUS seems to balance that out. or maybe it’s the fact that they resemble SHAY MITCHELL. personally, i’d love to know more about them seeing as how they’ve got those FIT GIRL, OLD PAGEANT CONTESTANT AND DANCING ALL NIGHT vibes. and maybe i’ll get my chance if i hang out around the WASHINGTON PARK long enough!
BULLET POINTS AND WC BELOW
Audrey was born in New Orleans as the result of an infidelity. Her mother fell in love with a man who pursued her although never told her he was married so when the woman discovered she was pregnant and told him, he came clean about his status.
He supported her and Audrey until she was three years old, then moved out without a word and her mom never heard of him again. She worked three jobs to support them until she found a way to get Audrey into pageant contest and so the income became higher.
Those beauty contest gave Audrey a though skin as well a more than modest ego. At school, she joined the cheerleading team and it gave her a scholarship for university, which she otherwise wouldn't have been able to pay for. It was a hard decision as to what she wanted to do with her life and as good as she was at contest, Audrey was tired of it so in the end after some counseling, she became a P.E teacher, working part time jobs until she got the degree.
Having studied in Colorado, Audrey didn't go back to New Orleans. Instead, she ended up in Denver, getting a place in a gym where she gave spinning classes until she landed a teaching job in high school where after a while, she took over couching the cheerleading team.
Audrey is a fun-loving person, enjoys going to clubs which sometimes get in the way of the fitness life but she makes it work. She's also a filtratious woman and there had been rumors about her having affairs with married people (yes, some of them are true) but pays little attention to gossips and keeps doing her thing. Love is not something she's interested in but who knows, she's getting older and everyone craves company.
