Meet Perdita. Near black kiwi and iceberg nylon both sold as “silk milk”. Photos are a bit messy as the hair needs to set from being held in portioned off buns and I can see where I need to add plugs. Not sure whether to do rooted eyelashes, what do you think?

Oh that does look like her too - but this body looks to be a much nicer quality. The faceup looks very similar, just different coloring. My doll has pierced ears too but no earrings. Thank you!

Do you recognize this doll?
I stumbled on a thrift shop and it was “the good kind,” that is, the kind that actually has dolls for sale, in bags. Most of them weren’t interesting to me, but I saw this doll (in a bag with a generic blonde 5-points-of-articulation Barbie) and I couldn’t resist her sweet face, so I bought her. She was on a super-cheap blow-mold body but her head is hard plastic, her facepaint is good quality, and her hair is well rooted and abundant.
Does anyone know anything about her? A reverse image search turned up nothing. I did some searching based on her head markings and apparently “RINCO” is a company that makes novelties and what appear to be dollar-store level dolls - mermaid dolls and “Kelly/Shelly/Chelsea” knockoff dolls and etc., which would make sense with the blow mold body. This head seems higher quality that that though.
Any info is appreciated!

More info about the overall doll buying experience that I wanted to include but can be skipped if you don’t want to read it:
So for some reason I had like NO cash on me that day. The bag this doll was in was marked $2.99 and I didn’t want to run my credit card for such a small amount, mainly because of the fees these stores get for small transactions. I dug around in my change purse and in my car and managed to get just under $3. When I got to the cashier, I asked if I could use my card for such a small amount and she said I could. She then said “it’s senior discount day, are you by any chance eligible for that?” Their senior discount starts at age 55, and I told her I was 54 [YIKES! lol] and she said “close enough!” and hit the discount button, so I was able to pay for the doll with the coins I had gathered.
This doll needs a spa day and she will most likely get a spare MTM body when I get around to it.

I had mentioned in my review of #4 that I was surprised that he had such a simple face up compared to everyone else in the first wave. Seeing him here with #9 though I’m kinda pissed as it feels like Mattel cheaped out on his faceup figuring any details would be lost on his dark skin (or something like that). I NOTICED THE LACK OF DETAILS MATTEL!! >:(
On a lighter note:

#9: How’d you get a shirt that fits??
#4 Don’t be too impressed; my pants pop open when I sit.
(I need to find names for these poor dolls soon)

I’m not much of a shoe person but I have been holding onto these Tall Barbie shoes specifically due to the detail and shape of them. I didn’t want to completely repaint them due to not being sure of the longevity of doing so so I was sort of trapped into keeping these orange. I looked towards Doc Martens as my inspo for these. If I could have done it my style the boots would have been black with red roses but I think I made these look more interesting than being plain orange. https://www.instagram.com/p/CSrltnbBOAr/?utm_medium=tumblr

Spent $3 in a thrift store for a roll of wallpaper that I thought would make a good doll photo backdrop

My MASKerade Party Barbie. I got her new in box last year at a thrift shop, & I love her to pieces. This doll's kinda special to me as she was the first doll I ever played with when I had to go to my aunts house one night a very long time ago. I would've loved to had her as a kid
