I’m so glad Rouge Trader has added more romance into 40K but I want even more. I’m tired of the only romantic subplots of 40K books being Caiphus Caine lands on planet Goth GF. I want to hear how Aeldari relationships have stood the span of centuries, I want to hear about a GSC polycule, I want to hear about a relationship between a tech adept and a commissar. I want to hear about Necron Nobility that eloped before the biotransferance and are now pissed they can’t be intimate. I know 90% of the stories would be tragic and most if not all would be cis-het but I’m willing to take something. Some depth in that department.

part of the reason i love mean, bitchy, rude, domineering, firecracker female characters and loathe seeing them defanged is because the prickliness repels men and the defanging is ALWAYS to make them more fuckable for whatever man they have a weird sexual tension with. like yeah i don't like the Mean Lesbian stereotype either but at least the mean lesbian isn't shelving her career to become a tradwife after spending however many episodes/chapters/issues saying how much she didn't want to do either of those things
