Her being completely overwhelmed and basically terrified because all eyes were on her at this and he just meets her gaze and nods. I just loved it! There is so much that was communicated and such love in that unspoken moment. Wow.

I just want to shed some light on this scene. This part exactly where he touches her chin and like caresses it. It's not in the aired footage of the series or the season but it's in the behind the scenes and I just don't understand why they didn't choose to include this in the aired footage because this part is like...okay so they were fighting they were quarreling they had some issues to handle and the wedding scene was like even if we're like in the midst of a quarrel or a disagreement I still love you and I still want to marry you and I'm talking about Colin here because Penelope obviously wanted to go through with it she was just scared and the thing is if they included this part it would have been like I'm still angry with you, I still feel hurt, I still feel betrayed, but I still love you, I still long for you, I still want to feel your touch. It's the embodiment of love! I love you does not mean when I'm angry or at odds with you I just shun you out. Love means even when I feel those things, I still care for you, I still am afraid for you, I still want to take care of you. This little scene where he caresses her chin this is literally the definition of all of this. I seriously do not know why they did not add it. I am angry. I have things to solve. Issues to get through right now after I have seen the scene a couple of times. I just don't understand like seriously I do not understand! Who do I have to speak to?! Who do I have to speak to for this to air like I don't know like special footage or something!!

When do I think Colin fell in love with Penelope?

I think it should be rather obvious now.

He fell in love with her that first summer he was away on tour. The first time he was able to see the fullness of who she was as a person, unburdened by her nerves. He fell in love with her over letters.

He wasn't in a place where he could face it, or even fully articulate it, but that's when it happened. She was always special to him, and there was a spark there, even in season 1. But season 2 is when they deepened their friendship, both on and off the page, and you can already see a marked difference in how he interacts with her.

He doesn't understand the depth or significance of his feelings yet, but they are there, boiling under the surface, ready to hit him like a truck lol
