But I promise you, if you never deal with the TRUE CAUSE of that pain, the one you call "dysphoria," you will feel it again. And again.

Woman is not a collection of acts, clothes or a pronoun. It's biology. It IS who you are, feminine or no. You should love your body and respect it as it is for the sole reason that it's got you this far, and when it's all said and done, your OWN mind and your OWN body is all we truly possess in this world.

You should be grateful for what you have and you should thank your body and love it exactly as it is, because it loves you and carries you through life, even though you've hated it and berated it and starved it and everything else. It continued to carry you, even when you prayed for it to die.

If you truly love your body, separate from all the expectations that come with the word "feminine," you will be happier and you will be at peace.

Your lovely body, who has carefully taken care of you from before you were even born. Before you had your first thought, your body was there. Breathing for you. It does not deserve mutilation at the hands of their keeper simply because it dared to be female.

When I decided to love my body as my body rather than hate my body because it's a woman's body and society tells us women's bodies are dangerous and dirty, my whole entire life changed. I was finally able to start LIVING as a PERSON rather than SUFFERING as a WOMAN. .

This is my greatest wish for you.
