I have found a new love for Graphic Design! As a junior, I decided to add a graphic design minor and I have already learned so much with only taking 1 class so far. This was a project called mixed realities and we were required to take alternate worlds and bring them together. I decided that the people that are best at this idea are little kids. A child can imagine the wildest things so I decided to bring my nephews imagination to life and created this art piece called “Logan’s World”.  I brought all of his favorite things into one giant world that I imagine how he sees the world around him at all times!  Love playing and learning new things with photoshop, can't wait to see what else I am  able to create

I loved the idea of biophilic design and the specific term of having a visual connection with nature. I used this theory by creating a huge wall windows so there is tons of natural light in the space as well as the amazing view of the ocean. You have a direct connection with nature while you're enjoying your cup of coffee and morning muffin. I also decided to make a custom ceiling and created a way that the ceiling can act like planters so it seems as if there were plants growing out of the ceiling! A direct connection to nature even while being indoors

Is velvet back in style?! Velvet was once seen as out dated and old. In 2019, velvet is not only trendy but is being seen as luxurious and funky which makes a space feel so unique! This multi-directional fabric definitely has designers thinking that this is going to be one of the newest residential trends in the upcoming year! I definitely love it!!

In 2018 we saw nothing but rose gold, subway tiles, and exposed lighting throughout the residential world but moving into a new year means moving into a new style. Trends are changing and we are finding so many more natural elements such as stone, copper, concrete, and granite. I’m definitely falling in love with the new trends of 2019, are you?
