How Can a Registered Migration Agent assist you in Australia Visa Application?
Immigrating to Australia is a systematic process which involves several steps. These steps are to be completed carefully and thoughtfully before your application becomes eligible for an Australian visa. There are applicants who plan to immigrate to Australia for a temporary period, while there are others who look out for permanent migration to Australia. This is not an easy decision and needs consultation. A registered migration agent for Australia is a professional who could guide you in travelling and settling in this country.
An applicant could immigrate to Australia for studying, working, vacationing or undergoing medical treatment. These immigrations are of a temporary nature and demands Australian temporary visas. However, there are instances when these temporary settlers opt for permanent settlement in Australia and opt for permanent residency. Cases of Australian immigration are always not so simple. For example, an applicant of an employer sponsored visa could immigrate on: a) Employer Nomination scheme – subclass 186; b) Standard Business Sponsorship – subclass 457; or c) Regional Sponsored Migration scheme – subclass 187.
Like this, there are several subclasses for Student Visa, Visitor Visa, Partner Visa, Family Visa, Parent Visa, GSM (genera skilled migration) Visa categories each with its own set of eligibility conditions. Immigrants to Australia for the first time are normally confused and often have their applications rejected or returned as they are incomplete or incorrect. To remove any such inconveniences, it is advisable to approach Australian migration services agencies nearest to your place. These registered migration agents are thoroughly aware of Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship rules and could help you accordingly.
Before filling in your application, you must decide your purpose of immigrating to Australia. After this purpose is identified, application for an Australian Visa becomes easier. A MARA agent (Migration Agents Registration Authority) is the correct body to approach for making this identification. It helps you in identification of the exact Visa type that you should apply for.
Further, these registered agents help you in defining the eligibility conditions for each subclass of Australian Visa and documentation required. They would help you in filling your applications and make an initial assessment as per guidelines of Department of Immigration and Citizenship of Australia. A correct and proper Australian immigration application is processed faster.

How to Choose the Most Suitable Australian Immigration Agent in Ahmedabad
Australia has emerged as the new territory of opportunity for students, professionals and businessmen. In addition, greater numbers of people are travelling to this country for travelling or for health reasons. In short, the number of immigrants to Australia has increased multiple times as compared to a decade ago. In keeping with current trends, there has been a steady increase in the number of Australian immigrants from India. To facilitate migration to Australia, offices of immigration agents have come up in several Indian cities. Candidates staying in Gujarat could approach an Australian immigration agent in Ahmedabad.
Facilitators for Australian immigration visas should be a MARA agent and have a unique registration number. These registered migration agents are thorough about the visa rules as formulated by Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship. An immigrant to Australia could travel on a student visa, visitors’ visa, workers visa or migrants’ visa. These are broad categories which are divided into subclasses for easier understanding and faster processing. For instance, Australian Worker Visa has subclasses such as: i) Employer Sponsored visa; ii) Skill Select visa; iii) General Skilled Migration visa; iv) Seasonal Workers visa; and v) Regional Employment Visa.
Similarly, Australia visitor’s visa is issued independently for tourists, retirees, patients, event organisers and participants, holiday workers and transition passengers.
With so many subclasses for every category, an applicant staying in Ahmedabad might get confused for the exact visa category to be applied for. Visa application and its fulfilment are subject to certain pre-conditions which vary from one Australian visa type to another. Applicants must meet these basic requirements for processing of visa applications. Assessment is the most important part of visa processing and is done by immigration experts.
Before submitting your application to Australian immigration authorities in Ahmedabad, it is advisable to have it checked by a registered immigration agent. They not only carry out assessments but also assist in completing applications as required. Applications for Australian immigration might need to be substantiated by documentary evidence, police report and health certificate. The best immigration agent in Ahmedabad is able to guide you in the correct direction.

Why Should You Opt for an Australian Migration Agent
Australia lately has become a favoured nation for migrating. Candidates from all parts of the world are immigrating to Australia for studying, taking up a job or conducting business. These immigrants to Australia land in this country on temporary visa which subsequently may be converted to permanent Australian visa subject to fulfilment of certain pre-conditions.
Department of Immigration and Citizenship of Australia issues visas under several categories, each with its requisite terms and conditions. It is important for applicants to understand and comply by these terms and conditions for easier passage and settlement in this country. A registered migration agent is the best person to notify about these particular norms of Australian immigration. As these agents are thorough about these regulations, they should be approached before filling up visa applications.
These MARA (Migration Agents Registration Authority) agents are located worldwide for facilitating Australia visa applications. In general, Australian visas are issued under categories of ‘student visa’, ‘general skilled visa’, ‘employer sponsorship visa’, ‘marriage/ fiancé visa’, ‘spouse/ dependent visa’, ‘business visa’ and ‘visitor Australia visa’. Each of these visas has separate eligibility criteria and assessed differently. Further, each of these category types is further subdivided into several subclasses for easier understanding and assessment.  For instance, under ‘employer sponsorship’ category, Australian visas are issued separately for: i) standard business sponsorship visa – subclass 457; ii) employer nomination visa – subclass 186; iii) regional sponsored migration scheme visa – subclass 187. Further there are subtle differences among Partner visa – subclass 309, Partner visa – subclass 820 and Prospective marriage visa – subclass 300.
It is not easy to understand each of these subclasses and it requires trained personnel to direct you in selecting the appropriate visa category. Every visa application is assessed thoroughly by Department of Immigration and Citizenship as per standing regulations and norms. There are eligibility conditions pertaining to age, language proficiency, required skills, necessary academic qualifications and so on. Certain visa applications also need police verification report and health certificate from registered medical practitioners. Australian visa applications are to be substantiated with documentation wherever required. Applications that are incomplete or improper are likely to be delayed, returned or rejected.
To avoid such inconveniences, it is always desirable to approach an authentic MARA agent for assessment of your application. They are the best people to let you know about the current Australian immigration terms. These registered agents are essentially facilitators of your migration to Australia.

Student Dependent Visa in Australia allows Dependents even when Undergoing a Study Course
Applicants immigrating to Australia on student visa are allowed to bring dependents as per assessment level. This level of assessment of applicants depends on your study program and your nationality. In general, there are five assessment levels for candidates applying for Australia Student visa: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4 and Level 5. Assessments become tougher as the level rises from 1 to 5. After becoming eligible as per assessments and subject to fulfilment of certain pre-conditions, an immigrant student to Australia is allowed to take dependents to Australia on ‘student dependent visa’.
Basic Eligibility
Applicants planning to undergo a study program in Australia need to apply for a student temporary Australian visa under subclasses:
a) Subclasse 576 – Australian Agency for International Development or Defence; b) Subclasse 575 – Non awarding study programs; c) Subclasse 574 – Postgraduate research; d) Subclasse 573 – Higher Education; e) Subclasse 572 – Vocational education and training; f) Subclasse 571 – School programs; g) Subclasse 570 - Independent ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students).
Applicants must identify their appropriate subclass in their application for Australian visa.
As assessment level of an applying candidate depends on his country of origin and his study course, they are non-uniform. In general, student dependent Australia visa is offered to students falling in Assessment Level 1 and Assessment Level 2. Candidates who immigrate to Australia under Assessment Level 3 or 4 become eligible for ‘dependent visa’ only when their study course is more than 12 months or have already stayed in Australian territory for twelve months at the time of application.
Dependent Children Defined
This visa type is essentially meant for dependent children of immigrants to Australia undergoing a study program extending over several months. These children must not have attained the age of 18 years and could even be stepchildren. Further, these dependents must neither be married nor engaged. They must also not be in any form of de facto relationship.
For having an application properly completed and assessed, you should approach a registered Australian immigration agent nearest to your location. Australia immigration applications must be completed in all respects and supported with documents wherever necessary. An incomplete application is likely to be delayed, returned or rejected. To avoid any such inconveniences, you should approach an experienced and reliable Australian migration facilitator.

Partner and Fiance Visa for moving to Australia
Married partners, partners intending to get married and de facto partners of citizens of Australia, or of permanent Australian residents or qualified citizens of New Zealand are entitled to apply for this Australian visa type. In other words, for an applicant, it is mandatory that his or her partner, spouse or fiancé is a permanent resident of Australia, an Australian citizen or an eligible New Zealand citizen.
Sponsorship for this Australian immigration type is borne by the resident Australian or New Zealand partner. Initially, an Australian temporary visa is issued and subsequently, it might be converted to a permanent Australian visa, subject to fulfilment of certain pre-requisites.
Categories of Australia Partner Visa
An application is filled and assessed depending on whether you are from Australia or outside. In case you are in Australia, you are eligible for a ‘partner temporary visa’ of subclass 820 which could later be converted to ‘permanent Australia visa’ of subclass 801. For partners staying outside this country, an application for ‘temporary partner Australian visa’ of subclass 309 might be made. On completion of two years and subject to adherence to certain preconditions, a temporary Australian immigration could be converted to a permanent type of subclass 100.
A temporary Australian partner visa does not entitle you the rights of a permanent citizen of this country or of New Zealand. Fiancé visa or ‘Australia prospective marriage visa’ is applicable for applicants who want to enter this country from overseas before marriage. This prospective partner must necessarily be an Australian citizen, a permanent inhabitant of this country or any qualified citizen of New Zealand. You must fulfil all the criteria for becoming an Australia visa holder, either temporarily or permanently. A permanent Australian visa could only be applied after you have spent two years on a temporary visa and have adhered to all preconditions set by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
Application for Spouse Australia Visa
Applications for these Australian visa types need to be supported by documents, wherever required. It should be noted that just by being spouse, partner or finance of an eligible New Zealand citizen, a permanent resident of Australia or an Australian citizen, you become a qualified resident of this country. Spouse Australia visa or Fiancé visa should be properly documented, thereby facilitating its assessment and processing. Australia visa applications must be enclosed with requisite fees.

India has now emerged as the single largest source of immigrants to Australia
India has now emerged as the single largest source of immigrants to Down Under. Lately, India has overtaken China in this respect, and the number of immigrants settling permanently in Australia crossed 29,000 in 2012. In terms of percentage, this was an increase to the extent of 12.7 percent. Indians constitute 23.7 percent of aggregate Australian migration.
This increase in the number of immigrants is contributed not only by the number of Indian immigrants to Australia but also because of the increase in the number of Indians already migrated and settled in Australia. Australian Government’s emphasis on skilled workforce inspired movement of Indians to Australia. For making immigration to Australia streamlined, Department of Immigration and Citizenship issues visa under different categories and subclasses. Australia Visa is issued under categories of ‘work permit’, ‘business’, ‘student’, ‘visitor’ and ‘partner’. Each of these categories is further classified into subclasses such as ‘general skilled migration visa’, ‘employee sponsored visa’ and ‘regional sponsored visa’.
Immigration to Australia is particularly fuelled by its labour market movements. During the last few years, there has been a genuine growth in demand for skilled manpower for the growing tertiary sector of Australian economy. Telecommunications, infrastructure and hospitality are the sectors that have grown significantly in the last few years necessitating a continuous supply of trained human resource. Among the major immigrant sources, India and China top the list. Prior to India, China topped the list of Australian immigration. However, due to economic resurgence in China, the number of immigrants from this country fell to second place.
India is a country where skilled human resource at affordable cost is available in considerable numbers, thereby encouraging commercial and industrial houses in Australia to source trained manpower from this country. A sizeable segment of this Australian immigration comprises temporary movement. However, many of these temporary immigrants opt for permanent Australian visa based on their work records.
Another reason for the increase in the number of Indian immigrants is the movement of students. During the last few years, there has been a sudden spurt in the number of students travelling to this country on Australian student visa. Though this visa is temporary in nature, there are distinct possibilities of these student immigrants to settle in Australia empowered with a long stay business visa or a permanent resident visa.

Authenticity test for Subclass 457 visa applications
Australia subclass 457 visa allows Australian employers to hire human resource from overseas for specific skill sets. This Australian visa is the most commonly used immigration instrument for hiring overseas skilled manpower temporarily. This visa subclass is specifically designed to address the shortage of local skilled human resource as demanded by certain sectors of Australian economy.
Concerns of Visa Applicants
Immigrants empowered with this temporary work visa are eligible to work in this country for a period of four years from the date of commencement of this Australian immigration visa. The applicant is also entitled to bring in family members and travel to and from Australia for unlimited times.
This Australian immigration visa being essentially sponsored needs to be substantiated with employer’s letter and sponsorship declaration. You should also have fair knowledge of English as it is the principal language of communication. Further, your job may demand licensees for definite job types. This is crucial for technical or vocational jobs that require involvement of specially trained manpower. A health examination is also an integral part of 457 Australian visa and should be submitted in the form of a certificate.
Concerns of Sponsors and Nominators
Here, it needs to be understood that the significance of temporary work visa is entirely labour market driven. Employers in Australia would sponsor overseas skilled manpower in times of economic boom and low availability of local human resource. A robust protection environment for overseas manpower is imperative to ensure exactly the same rights as enjoyed by local citizens and permanent residents. Employers are also required to meet the same levels of training for these overseas resources as compared to Australian settlers and citizens.
Sponsors for this Australian immigration visa must have lawful operation within or outside this country. They must provide suitable training and working environment. These sponsors must not have any adverse records of employee-employer behaviour and have demonstrated non-discriminatory processes of labour welfare.
For nominated category, application for sponsorship and nomination must have taken place simultaneously. Nominees for such instances must necessarily be holders of 457 subclass visa, an applicant or a proposed applicant to this visa type. The nominated position must have close significance to employee’s qualification or expertise. Also the market salary rate should be in semblance to an Australian employee with same qualifications and skills.

Significant aspects of Australian Bridging Visa
Australian Bridging visa is temporary in nature, allowing immigrants to remain in Australia lawfully. These are issued in situations where an Australian immigrant is awaiting a substantive visa or its extension, such as one for permanent residency. Department of Immigration and Citizenship of Australia issues three classes of Bridging visas: BVA, BVB and BVC.
BVA – Bridging visa A is issued when the period of validity of a substantive visa is expired and the subsequent one is under process. BVA is granted to immigrants who have already applied for a substantive visa while holding on to another subclass of substantive Australian visa. While holding on to a Bridging Australian visa, you are not allowed to return to Australia once you leave its shores.
A BVA enables you to remain in Australian territory while your new substantive visa is being processed. In case you already are holding a substantive visa at the time of grant of BVA, you are bound by your substantive visa conditions till its expiry date. Conditions of BVA apply only when your substantive visa period expires.
This Bridging visa allows you to stay in Australian territory in the interim time between two substantive Australian visas. Staying without this visa in this interim period makes you a non-citizen and bereft of any right of an immigrant or a permanent citizen.
BVB – Bridging visa B is also a temporary permission which allows you to stay in Australia in the interim period between expiry of one substantive visa and issue of subsequent one. Similar to BVA, a BVB might be issued while you are already having a substantive visa. Unlike BVA, BVB allows you to leave and return to Australian shores even during this period. However, you cannot overstay outside Australia while holding BVB. Your reason for travelling out of this country with Bridging Visa B and your tenure of stay must clearly be specified to Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
BVC – Bridging visa C type allows you to stay in Australia when you have applied for a substantive visa but do not hold one. Unlike in BVA or BVB where you already are a holder of substantive visa, a BVC is offered if you do not hold one. BVC, like BVA, does not entitle you to return to Australian shores once you leave this country.
