Hetalia OC post! Québec on a swing (request)🎶🪴
He still is a bit traumatized, by how England used to kick him off swings, when he was younger. He was like the evil adoptive father after France left haha..

Hetalia OC, Québec (Étienne Beauleau)

Hello, dear hetalia fandom, I'd like to introduce my son, Québec! 🇨🇦⚜️
Basic Information:
His full Human name is Étienne Beauleu, physical age: 27
Languages: Native French (Québécois dialect),English, understands basic latin (switches between French and English when distressed)
Birthday: July 3 (1603)
Romantical relationship with austria
Personality:
Witty, expressive, cold at times and confident | Québec walks into a room like he owns it (not out of arrogance),
He‘s not warm as in the way Canada is, his affection has edges,
Theatrical and sarcastic, but often with a dry bite
He chooses his words like weapons
That coldness isn‘t cruelty, it‘s defense. He‘s been dismissed, misunderstood and ignored too many times
He‘ll protect what he loves with fire and fury
He‘s a natural romantic and poetic, but it‘s icy and dramatic like an opera
listens to classical music like it‘s therapy
He remembers your favorite café order and acts like he doesn’t
Will never say "I love you" directly , but he‘ll look at you like you‘re a cathedral
Backstory:
Québec was born in 1603, the moment France planted it‘s flag along the St. Lawrence River. A colony child, delicate and dreamy, but stubborn as winter. He was France‘s favorite. France raised him like a prodigy, dressed him in lace, taught him manners. made him feel important. He thought he‘d be loved forever.
Then came 1763, France lost the 7 years war and gave Québec to England without a fight. England became his new keeper, cold, foreign, protestant, and entirely unwelcome. Québec rebelled quietly.
In 1867, he became part of the Dominion of Canada, but not by choice. They lived together, side-by-side, but never truly as one.
They 20th Century brought the quiet revolution, Québec fought for modernity, language rights and dignity. Twice (in1980 and 1995), he nearly left Canada. His heart is still torn.
Now he‘s strong, creative and culturally vibrant. But deep down there‘s still a boy, waiting at the docks for France.
Hobbies:
Playing the violin (he can also play any instrument but the violin in his all time favorite) 🎼🎻
Writing poetry
Ice skating
Thrift shopping for old coats (he love dramatic coats)
Reading old french literature
Sitting outside in the snow
Karaoke
Relationships:
🇫🇷: Father, Québec sees him as a father who forgot his birthday for a few century but still taught him how to kiss cheeks like royalty. He still loves him dearly, so does France
🇨🇦: Brother, Is and older brother to Canada and constantly roasts Canada, but if somebody else tries, he‘ll throw hands
🇦🇹: Loves, They bond over classical music, old books and mutual disappointment in everyone else
🇬🇧: hate, England erased his language and stories. If England tries to talk to him he‘ll say "Pardon?" and act like he doesn’t understand English
🇺🇸: Half Brother, they not always get along..
🇯🇵: Friends, they exchange traditional sweets sometimes
🇧🇪: Friends, Belgium thinks he‘s dramatic and that he needs a crossaint
🇪🇸: Close Friends, Spain thinks he‘s like a cat that needs to be cared of
🦅🔲 (Prussia): Close Friends, Oddly understand eachother very well
