I believe that Nikes logo is a part of a larger identity system because Nike has many different lines within the company but the swoosh and the words NIKE are usually always apart of the logo even in a different line of the company. for example the swoosh is on a majority of their shoes and clothing and on their other lines like NIKE football it is still in the logo.

I found this data picture of data visualization online and the main picture is to show how much money each country is spending on military. I think the underlying agenda behind this picture is that the United States has been and will spend the most money on military because the want to remain the most military powerful country in the world.

IBM used this logo to reference the past use of Rebus which is when you use logos to mean letters or words. They were trying to spice up their logo and give it more edge. Paul Rand did that by changing the logo to Rebus.

The connotative meaning of this cover page is that the baby is suppose to represent that talent is much more common in younger people and that the baby does not have that much experience in the field but will still be able to get the job done.
