Roman immediately wished he could take it back. He didn’t really mean it, he could never mean it, but it was late, he was tired, the four sides had been arguing for what felt like hours and Roman just couldn’t take it anymore. 

“It’s not going to work, Princey, why don’t you just–” 

“Shut up! GOD, all you ever do is tear down my creations and make things difficult! Everything out of your mouth is unending, relentless criticism! You can’t even say one good thing about my ideas! I hate you!” 

Hurt flashed through Virgil’s eyes, and all the anger drained out of Roman instantly, and guilt rose up to take its place.  

“Virgil, I–” 

“No, you know what? Thank you, Roman.” 

“Wha–” 

“Thank you for saying that, because I really needed to hear it. I needed to hear that someone else thinks I’m as much of a screw up as I tell myself I am everyday. I needed someone else to say that I’m as big of a let down as I assume that I am. I needed someone else to say it, so that I know it’s not just a cognitive distortion, it’s real.” 

Tears were welling up in Virgil’s eyes, but he just scowled, making no attempt to brush them away. 

“Virgil, I…I didn’t mean–” 

“No, it’s fine Roman.” Virgil let out a hollow laugh. “You hate me? Well, I hate me more. So it’s fine. Everything’s fine.” 

He sank out without another word, and Roman was left staring at the empty space in horror.

Okay, I think i have it now and i appreciate it.

I’ve just made a bet against my Dad that if this post gets 2 million notes then i can get a Puppy. [like the one underneath]

I didn’t realise how much 2 million was and i couldn’t take that number down now. It should look like 2,000,000 in the notes bar.

He’s convinced that this will never reach that number, and very confident about it so Let’s prove him wrong!! He thinks this will get about 25 notes beofre it’s left in the dust.
