A character board for King Erix the antagonist of my work in Progress, Project Witch Queen he is a vampire, the king of one of the seven lands in the world where the series is set, a master of the dark arts, one of only eight people in the world who can use more than one kind of magic and like most characters in the book he is morally questionable and he was the first vampire to ever exist.

I am having such a great time writing my MC, Isabel  she is morally questionable meaning that she can do and say anything, she is totally unpredictable and plus everything she says and does is a mood.

A mood board for Project Witch Queen main character, Isabel like the working title suggests Isabel is a witch, a great and powerful witch who has spent her life trying to perfect the dark arts and learning to bend her magic to her will. 

Isabel like most other characters in the series is morally questionable and an unreliable narrator it is difficult to tell when she is telling the truth or when she is lying. She is beautiful and talented but manipulative and there is nothing that she will not do to protect what she loves and to gain what she wants.

An Introduction To My WIP Project Witch Queen

My work in progress, which I am calling Project Witch Queen until such a time when I can come up with a better title or an author friend of mine suggests a better one. 

Project Witch Queen will be the first in a series of novella’s then novels. The series is set in a fantastical world of seven kingdoms each ruled by a different faction of vampires. Kingdoms once ruled by witches before they were overthrown and banished by the respective vampire factions. 

The first book revolves around Isabel a powerful Witch, sick of her kinds banishment from greater society, tired of being in hiding decides to infiltrate the King’s court in order to gain his trust and overthrow him and take the throne for herself but when she arrives at the palace in disguise she finds that she is not the only one trying to take the throne for herself and she finds herself in a palace of traitors, posers,  where she can trust no one and she must take power for herself before it is stolen by somebody else. 

The series involves magic, long kept secrets, morally questionable characters and unreliable narrators.

a tv adaptation of dracula but it's a romantic slice of life comedy about lucy and the boyfriend squad, except for 1 - 3 minutes every episode, we abruptly cut away from Lucy Westenra is The Bachelorette to whatever ungodly horror jonathan's facing in castle dracula today, with no context before it cuts back to lucy, with no explanation or resolution of what's happening with jonathan. this happens without warning every time.

I’m a few days late on this!! Happy 100th Birthday to #NOSFERATU!!! . Nosferatu premiered on March 4th, 1922 at the Berlin Zoological Garden, for a large society event - Das Fest des Nosferatu. The movie was directed by #FWMurnau & starred #MaxSchreck. . FUN FACT: The #BramStoker estate sued for copyright infringement & had all but a few copies of the film destroyed. Yet it survived & became part of the zeitgeist of horror films & pop culture. . If you couldn’t tell I’m a BIG FAN of classic horror movies… . In 2014, I designed an art print of NOSFERATU for my solo show #SCREAMWITHME at @GalerieF. I drew NOS in profile with another drawing of his skeleton as a #glowinthedark layer. That was a lot of fun (and a lot of work)! Being someone who tries to use every part of the buffalo, I used the artwork for a patch, enamel pin (collab with @yesterdays.co), & a keychain! You can all that in my SHOP! . In 2019, I was commissioned by @kirkhammett and his management to create 2 posters for his #romitsalive at the @romtoronto in Canada! I knew NOS was a favorite of Kirk’s so I pitched the vampire lurching over the #RoyalOntarioMuseum with a bunch of bats flying around. It worked! Kirk’s social media dude asked if I knew the ROM had a permanent bat exhibit. No, I didn’t. I was too dumb to lie. . @dj_jefecita and I got flown out to check out the exhibit and catch Hammett and Rob Trujilo’s #theweddingband perform. Funny enough we ended up meeting the guys for breakfast while we were there. They also made ltd edition guitar picks with my art on them! SO CRAZY!!! . Helpful household spirits.

WHAT ARE THEY?

Are said to come out at night while the owners of the home sleep and perform various chores and or farming tasks. The owners of the house should leave a bowl of milk or cream or some other offering for the brownie.

Brownies are described as easily offended and will leave their homes forever if they feel they have been insulted or in any way taken advantage of.

Brownies are characteristically mischievous and are often said to or pull pranks on lazy homeowners. This may be as simple as putting your keys somewhere completely different right before work

They generally move amongst the shadows where one doesn’t quite see them. They are beings that wish to be left unseen. But that still enjoy to help out!

The Porviso, is an animal, a species of mouse that passes under the doors and with a very long tail, as much as to surround the pillow and drown with it the people who sleep. It was said that many people had died because of Porviso.
