Author V. C. Andrews made a cameo appearance as a maid in the 1987 film adaptation of her novel, the first in the Dollanganger series. Andrews did not live to see the film, dying of breast cancer in December 1986.

Robert J. Sawyerâs 1999 novel FlashForward was adapted into the TV series of the same name which aired between September 2009 and May 2010. In the pilot episode Sawyer cameos as âMan on Cell Phoneâ at the hospital.

Roth appears about an hour into the 2014 film version of her novel. The filmâs director Neil Burger told Hypable: â[The producers] came to me and they said, where would you want to put Veronica in the movie? And I was like, âIâve got so much that Iâm working on for that to be a big thing to think about.â So I said, âHow about we put her on the train for capture the flag?â âNo, no, she doesnât want to be that present,â not in a primadonna way, by the way. Sheâs just shy. âHow about we give her a line where she says before they jump, âGet ready.â âNo she doesnât wanna have that.â I said, âOkay, how about sheâs the first one through the door at the top of the Hancock building when they run up the stairs to the zipline.'â

Von Ziegesar told townandcountrymag.com that âI had to wear five-inch heels because Blake Lively is like six feet tall and Iâm only five foot two.â

Michael Bond in Paddington
In the 2014 film Paddington, Michael Bond, the author of the Paddington Bear books, makes a cameo appearance. Bond told BBC Radio 4's Front Row: "It was a night-time shoot - I am sitting in a restaurant on my own by the window when Paddington goes past in a black taxi. He's just arrived in London for the first time and is going back with the Browns to their house. I catch his eye as he goes past and raise a glass to him." Bond also mentioned that he had shot another scene for the film which was deleted.
