My depression is a SELFISH BITCH, it DOESN'T like company!
My depression is a SELFISH BITCH, it DOESN’T like company!
I can honestly say that I have been dealing with some form of depression since I started schooling, so roughly 30 years give or take. My depression shows it’s ugly head in the form of manic highs were everything makes me extremely happy or manic lows were everything makes me sad, lonely, and very emotional. Unfortunately, my manic low days have been overpowering my manic high days. Over the years…

The Start of the Beginning
Hello everyone and Welcome to my blog!
Here you will be able to witness my journey in this thing we call life. This thing we call life is truly a long strenuous process full of chasing dreams with hopes of finding great adventures and amazing friends along the way.
I am finding myself five years from turning 40 and feeling like I haven’t really started living this life that I have been given to the fullest. I am constantly being nagged by that small voice of that little girl who had so many big dreams, whom over the years has been forced to remain small and quiet due to life’s ups and downs, fear and doubts! But that little girl is always showing that she is a persisted little bitch and that she is SO OVER being ignored.
So here I am setting off on a journey of mustard seed faith, chasing that little girl’s dream of becoming a self publishing romance/fiction author, teaching creative writing to the future Young Authors of America and building a stronger faith foundation that Joel would have envy, all the while being a working single mother of a teenage son, trying to fit in a size 14/16, with something called a Master Thesis lurking around desperately wanting to be completed during this life time, by someone who really just wants to be curled up under the cover in her bed with the latest book from one of her favorite authors, while listening to her Pandora radio stations on shuffle and getting lost in her hopes and dreams of maybe finding her own HEA (Happily Ever After) one day. I Know! I Know! It’s a hard life full of 1st World problems!
My future posts will run the gambit of daily devotions or bible studies that leads me to becoming a devoted Christian, book reviews of my favorite authors, excerpts from some of the short stories I am currently working on or just ramblings of a Gemini who can’t quiet her mind for more than 10 minutes. Hopefully, you will find my post quite entertaining and will not regret following my blog.
Thank you once again and please remember to always stand in your truths with your heads held high and give in to that persistent little voice every once and a while!
