Someone else stumbles over their words during the game and gives no indication whatsoever that it bothers them, and I laugh. I stumble over my words a couple minutes later and, when everyone else laughs, remind them that I've repeatedly requested they not make fun of the way I talk. Is this slightly hypocritical? Yes. But there's a difference between laughing when the other person is laughing as well and says absolutely nothing about it bothering them, and someone who's repeatedly said over the course of years that they do not like it when people make fun of the way they talk.
Am I crazy? Am I going crazy? Am I losing my mind?

#nothing like overhearing your brother go on a rant about how you're a hypocrite who can never be held accountable for anything#and his girlfriend (who you had previously never had anything but positive interactions with) backing him up#all because you left the table and went to bed without saying anything after we finished our game#which apparently = shutting down at the first sign of criticism and running away??#NO you DICK I'm recovering from goddamn SURGERY AND OVERDID IT TODAY#also I'm SORRY I don't particularly want to interact with someone who's always on my goddamn case for no conceivable reason#heard his girlfriend say I'm never going to make friends if I just shut down and run away all the time 馃憤#once again. recovering from major surgery here.
