Hey so today I got a haircut and had possibly the best interaction I’ve had with a stranger. I didn’t even know her name lol

So she asked me what I do, so I said I’m a fanfic writer. She asked what ship/pairing, and I just said “it’s more just the fandom”. She asks what fandom.

Me: Oh it’s a Lego show

Her, literally immediately: Ninjago?

Me, genuinely surprised: Yeah how did you know??

Her: You just have that vibe

I’ve never been more complimented in my fucking life. I’ve achieved something.

I needed to put this somewhere because I’m still super happy about this. I’ve dedicated ten years of my life to this show; I’m so glad it’s just so obvious about me.

MGN (Morro's the Green Ninja)

Y'know that animation error...heh

When it's time for the Golden Weapons to reveal whether Lloyd is the Green Ninja, they don't react. Out of desperation, the ninja finally convince their sensei to admit why he's so angry about that.

The ninja then turn their attention to finding Wu's former student, but they have no idea if he's dead or alive. (Somewhere in that time, Child's Play happens). Their search eventually leads them to the Cursed Realm.

Now with a 15-year-old spiteful ghost, they return home.

This is basically a Morro & Lloyd power swap AU. I just wanted to write something sad tbh.

NNAU (Not Ninja AU) & Subsets

Oh heck this is a lot

NNAU: An AU where everything is fine, they're not ninja, and no one is evil. This is my "making everyone+myself happy" AU.

NNAU-TS (Timeline Swap): An AU where Canon Lloyd and NNAU Lloyd get swapped.

SNAU (Secret Ninja AU): Fun fact, I've never watched the movie. This is not movie verse, but IMO a funnier concept. What if they were all secretly heroes of some kind, and literally none of them told each other, so they're all hiding the same secret from each other, whilst also working with each other (sometimes). It's a lot more complicated than that, but I'll keep this desc here until I make full pages for all of these.

Defying Destiny

This is basically just a canon rewrite but Morro's only two years older than them and also on the team. It gets pretty dark/wild/weird deeper in, but that's pretty much it. This was the first AU I started writing. It's nowhere near published yet (I've just started on Chapter 8 which is the first pilot episode). I'd like to be somewhere around S1-2 when I actually start publishing it, or maybe further, just so I don't psyche myself out. This one won't be out for a while, but I will talk about it sometimes.
