Scourge-Fire
Ingressus-Centered Writing
He burns.
That anguish—ah, unbearable!—he drinks the molten sorrow of the pit, while past the farthest ridge the heavens fling their last cataract of crimson-orange light.
He burns.
A flood of steel-wroth flame clasps his breast in chains; he turns, as far as pain allows, to seek some dim yet burnished earthly gleam.
There, in that scarlet-scalding lake, he spies one drifting lock, blood-soaked and severed, a dying vambrace—his own dark shape.
The mortal blade of cause and debt, its fingers slack upon the hilt, now glides between his palms—black blood, hot tears—and, when he mounts the seat of doom, bends silent eyes on him alone.
He bleeds.
Blood with fire commingle, blaze as one; he tastes the bitter ash of ruin, then the searing, spiced-sweet pang.
He drinks of sorrow and remorse, though boiling, brutish flame enwraps him still, though streaming, scalding blood will never cease its fall—
until all things sink to ash,
until the ash grows hard as earth.
He burns.
He bleeds.
Fire and blood devour him, breathe with him, unfold, converge, and thunder. He is prepared for swallowing; at last, as promise wills, he falls—
and soundless is submerged.

Wind, sand and stars
Chapter 1: Guidepost
To the young Senn, the Tidesinger was like a towering beacon, standing at the edge of his path, guiding his way forward. Like other Ardoni of his age, just hearing the name of this war hero stirred deep reverence in his heart.
Whenever Senn gazed at that radiant beacon, he couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement, silently vowing that once he reached it, he would circle this great monument in the most splendid manner to pay his respects before continuing on his journey.Yet, before he could arrive, the Tidesinger, that beacon of hope, fell with a resounding crash.
It became a distant horizon, forever out of his reach.
