what is you favourite interpretation on the relationship between xisuma and his no1 hater ^-^

GHHAHAHRRRRGGAAAAH. can we talk about unrequited familial love. one sided you're my brother you're my creation (you are [my being created] not you are [something I created]) you abandoned me you ruined me you're my everything you're so much more than me. right that's ex's side. so long before they ever met xisuma, emotionally their life revolved around him. they made him into an older brother figure, or their rather skewed understanding of what that meant. what else were they supposed to call that. they knew they were a copy of someone who escaped without them. what do you call someone who's image you were built in, as a smaller, constricted shadow of that person, with the flaws of. ideas about autonomy and freedom and love and a better world than this one kept away since infancy this time. what do you call the pain of that person being missing and yourself being the only trace they left. what word could they put on it beside abandonment. xisuma cut off a painful part of his life and left it behind, like chopping split ends off his hair to let it grow back new and healthier. that's what evil xisuma was born out of, without xisuma ever knowing. it's what evil xisuma has remained. they aren't a person, they aren't living and they never were. they're shed cells of another person that was forced to grow into something grotesque, which xisuma can't recognize. how could he? can you differentiate your own shed skin from any other dust? the axe forgets but the tree remembers, the tree forgets but the buried, rotting bark remembers. xisuma and evil xisuma aren't brothers and they never were and they can't ever be, but how else can evil x explain, not what they are missing, but what they are a missing (unwanted) part of.

I don't think evil xisuma would ever come out as non binary. I think they would be bothering xisuma one day while he's trying to make some stupid farm and they would say to him You know it's funny how all these hermits assume I'm a man just because you are one. They didn't even ask me. Bit inconsiderate, isn't it. and xisuma would say Huh. I never thought about that. Um. Well. Are you a man? and evil x would say Not really. so xisuma's like. Oh okay. well are you... a.. woman? and evil x says No. and xisuma's a little bit lost at this point so he says alright. well. do you want me to ask everyone to not... call you "he" anymore? and evil x says No. and xisuma's like Well alright. I'm not quite sure what the point of all this was then. but he probably keeps that last part as an inside thought. And then evil x tries to lightning strike him but they miss. and that's really embarrassing for them so they run away.

so then later when xisuma sends evil x a minemail (minecraft email) invite to help with his next snapshot overview video, and for some reason evil x agrees, x refers to evil x using they/them the whole time because he's pretty sure that's what he's supposed to be doing. And evil x seems to like that because they don't even try to kill him with lightning the entire time. And so xisuma is like Ok then.

Cleo: Jimmy got stopped at US Customs, is that what you're saying JT? Joe: Oh--yeah, see, that's the thing, so, stuff like that I don't know how much the public knows, uh-- Cleo: Well this is from-this is from my chat, so, like--and Jimmy's Jimmy, Jimmy'll tell people. (laughs) Joe: Yeah yeah yeah, so, um, yeah, he definitely did. Uh--and he was the one that knew the least about what we were doing? Yknow? (Cleo cackles) At least Martyn had done it before, um. But like, yeah, they were--they were trying to good cop/bad cop him, and, uh, I don't know if you know Stage? She's one of the people who works for Gamer's Outreach who helped organize this-- Cleo: I--interacted with them, but I don't know them. Joe: So, yeah, Stage was saying that like, uh, that Customs calls, and is like, hey, we have somebody in holding, right now, that said that you would vouch for them. And she's like, well, I know a lot of people coming into the country cause I'm organizing a charity event, can you tell me their name? And they're like, no. You have to--you have to vouch for them. Joe: And-and-and Stage is just like, well, okay, I could give you a list of all of the foreigners coming in, or I could just tell you that I vouch for this person hoping that it's one of them and not somebody else lying because they know I have a bunch of people coming in, and uh, the Customs people were like, yeah that's good enough. (Cleo starts giggling) It's like, wait, really? That's good enough?! Okay-- Cleo: Wow, okay--(Cleo and Joe laugh) Joe: Like, like, they never said--I don't know Jimmy's actual name, like, um, oh, I will say-- Cleo: It is Jimmy. Joe: I will say a highlight of the trip--oh, but they didn't say like, 'we had James--' Cleo: --oh yeah-- Joe: 'so-and-so here.' Y'know, blah blah blah. Um. But like, yeah, one of the highlights of the trip was, uh, we were at like, a bar, or a restaurant or something and I was signing the check--y'know, you get a credit card thing, you sign it or whatever--and I was signing the slip, and Iskall just looks at me--looks at me and goes, "your name is really Joe Hills?!" And I'm like, yes-- Cleo: Iskall! Joe, through laughter: It just, it didn't occur to him--it didn't occur to him! Cleo: Iskall man, (wheezes) Is it news to him that you live in Nashville, Tennessee, is the question. Joe: I don't know. "Nashville, that's in America!"

my desire to see more characters try to self-destruct by vomiting up a deluge of the most damning lies about themselves in a fit of despair and loathing and desire to be punished in some way vs. my knowledge that at least some audiences would take their words at face value and metatextually respond exactly the way they're hoping for
