Vaccinating for Dummies

Promised warning: If you are too PC keep your bullshit to yourself. Don’t cry for content warnings. You have been warned.

Let’s start with this. We are having measles outbreaks across the country! Why!? Because anti-vaxers aren’t vaccinating their kids! This is how we kill those diseases, dumbasses!

My parents (early 60s yo) were one of the last groups to get the polio vaccine. Why? Because the vaccinations worked and no one was getting polio!

Now, you know what the biggest reason (that I have heard almost everyone say!) why no one is vaccinating their kids? This really irks me.

“Vaccinations cause Autism”

That’s your whole reason why? You would rather your child dies than be autistic like me? Fuck you.

The second biggest reason?

“Vaccinations have no scientific proof”

...okay, I guess the measles outbreaks are just figments of our imaginations then. Crisis over everyone. The anti-vaxers were right [loud amounts of sarcasm]. Get a fucking clue.

We brought back the measles. This shit killed kids! And it’s trying to make a comeback. All because you won’t vaccine your kids.

Everyone wants to complain and whine and bitch about how we need to not abort and taking away our choices, yet you won’t vaccinate your children because you want a choice in that!

What if we vaxers pushed the same laws on you guys that the pro-life people are doing to women across the state? Forced to vaccinate your children or get the death sentence. Perhaps we should.

Why it doesn’t matter if you’re pro choice or pro life.

Okay, I am done with this shit. I have been done with this shit got a while. Especially since it really doesn’t fucking matter. Just Jesus!

Okay, on the rape side of bullshit, I was raped at 9, you guys want to tell me that if I had gotten pregnant at 9 I should keep the baby!? Really? You would do that to a fucking 9 year old? WTF is wrong with you!? I would not have wanted to keep that incest rape baby and I wouldn’t have someone else do that either. Because it’s my choice, not yours. And there is no way in hell I would have brought that child into the hell that was my childhood. Because if I had that hypothetical child my mother would have destroyed them! Because she is selfish enough to have kept the child there instead of letting someone adopt them.

What about my cousins!? They can’t have children...ever! Because their genetics work together to bring any baby they have into the world to make it so they won’t live past the age of fourteen which is when their kid died...unable to talk, in a fucking wheelchair! When I met that little child, they were lively, excited, and loved life. And then when they hit four, six months later their life went to hell.

Pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into a child that will NEVER live past the age of fourteen and never mature past four. Letting them die inside every time they see their child suffer. Every time they have to take them back to the doctor because some new symptom showed up that they can’t fix on their own.

You would subject them to that all over again? All because you’re a good pro-lifer all life is sacred. Yeah, it is. But the pain that you pour into that child that you know is fated for death isn’t worth it to be with them now.

If you don’t want to kill a life, fine. But don’t shove that bullshit down my throat. I wouldn’t personally abort a child unless they had a severe problem (like might die before they are anyone or were going to kill me), but there are some who would, deal with it. Be grateful that you’re a “bigger person” than they are. Because that isn’t your decision!

I can always have another child. But they could never have another birth mom.

Get off your high horses and stop passing laws to kill woman who don’t want a child! Do you want them to go back to dumpster babies and back alley butchers? Because I sure don’t.

Christianity vs the World

Listen up, because this one is going to be a tough pill to swallow. As I said in my post about labeling I grew up in a southern Baptist fundie household. I was taught at a young age by everyone that we’re supposed to pity and look down on everyone who wasn’t just like us.

Surprise, surprise when I found out that my friend’s fundie Catholic Church said the same damn thing. And they were determined to convert me “the heathen”. Jokes on them though, I converted one of their own. Because I know the Bible. Thank you, fundie life [large amounts of sarcasm].

So I have this to say...fuck you guys. Because you forgot the biggest thing about being Christian (and I don’t care what flavor you are). Because you are all guilty of this shit. How many times a day do you judge someone based on race, sexual preferences, religion, or even disabilities?

Jesus said to love everyone. EVERYONE! He never said to hate anyone. So why is there so much hatred in your hearts!? Seriously. He didn’t stutter!

So why, when I went to a church on Easter, did I have a so called “non judgmental Christian” basically tell me that I couldn’t have been loved by God due to the fact that I was sporting piercings and tattoos?

This, this hatred that everyone is dominated by in churches is exactly why I chose to not claim a religion. I am Christian, I do my best not to judge someone unless they judge me, I accept and love everyone (unless they treat someone with disrespect...then screw them), and I talk about my Christianity to anyone who asks.

Jesus said to love everyone, he said to not judge, and he said to spread the word...not cram it down someone’s throat until they finally crack!

Why, why do you do that!? Some people come from different cultures. Their religion is going to be different than yours. So let me do something you fundie assholes do when you want to get a point across. Use the Bible. And this time, I’m using it against you (I got an A+ on an essay in bible class about a subject that they didn’t teach). So bring it on motherfuckers!)

Let me point this out. It never once says in the Bible there is only one true God. It says “there is no other like God” but never the one true god. Another thing he said was “to not hold any other gods before him”. What up? Because that right there tells me that there is more than one god.

So think about this cultures that you’re invading because we need to convert them. They have their own beliefs! Let them believe it! Have a discussion about it. See what things compare in their religion to yours.

Like this, in Egyptian mythology (which was a religion to them back then, think about that) there is the god named Horus (he came about in the year 3,000bc). If you read his story he was a virgin birth, his birth was announced by a star in the sky, was baptized at 30, he had 12 Disciples, performed miracles, and was even crucified between two criminals.

My, my, my, doesn’t that sound similar? And he was considered a god thousands years before the birth of Christ.

So what do you have to say about that? Can’t we accept other religions (and this includes agnostics and atheists) without saying that our way is better?

Labeling and why it sucks!

So, fine, fine. You know what? I can’t tell anyone I know how I truly feel about controversial topics. Things like Pro-life/choice, Anti-vaxers/vaxers, weed legalization, marriage rights, evolution, climate change, mental disabilities, millennial problems, and more.

You’ll find out tidbits about me along the way.

If you are too PC keep your bullshit to yourself. Don’t cry for content warnings. You have been warned. I don’t do confrontation with people like that well. I tend to make them cry. I am ripping the bandaid off of everything! Because maybe, just maybe, someone will read this and start sharing this, and then we can start being nice to each other because we need to.

We need to stop guilt tripping each other to join our sides. Especially since we can disagree and be adults about this shit! We don’t need to make it a big fucking deal! Just relax, be a fucking grown up, and agree to fucking disagree. I mean Jesus! I’m starting to side with the Boomers here! (I’m technically a millennial but I act more like a gen x). We’re a bunch of children who whine about everything!

I am done with it. So now you get to hear my side of this shit. And I know just where to start.

The fucking labeling! I can’t tell you how much I hate the labeling. We label everything. From religion to how we identify ourselves.

When I was a kid I just loved people for being people. I described them with perfect innocence of youth (I should point out that I have Asperger’s, a type of autism). “That guy with the dreads looks cool!” I didn’t know that he was a black (oh, that’s on the list too, and I’ll get to it in another post) transgender dude who was biromantic demisexual. I didn’t know that!

Now you HAVE to know that! I didn’t know you had to know everything about your preferences! When the fuck did this shit start!?

I know I grew up in a vault, but damn! Suddenly over the past five years I have learned so many labels. And I don’t know why we have this craze!

Can’t we just be people? It doesn’t matter, none of it fucking matters! I once heard a story about two girls kissing when I was about 10 in the 90s and I said that it was cute that they loved each other. And I was a southern baptist fundie homeschooled from birth!

So why, just why, can’t we get along about this? I was a fundie and yet I loved everyone. So, get your shit together Christians. Because you’re next.

Now why do I give labels? So that you that do get your fucking label. The only time it is acceptable to label is explaining important things, like mental illnesses, what profession you have, any disabilities. However, it is YOUR choice if you want to give that information or withhold it if you so desire.
