lol I was going to fully blog my latest bg3 playthrough. I had plans!!@!! Then all of a sudden I was on act 3 and hadn't posted a goddamn thing..... oops

so, after Asylum, Dorn was asking how Triss fare's and I decided to make a little addition to their dialogue

I made Diana in bg3 :)

still don't feel like the hair is right :/

I was so sure I wasn't going to recruit Dorn this time. I don't need any evil aligned characters in my good aligned party but then I saw him.... sitting there in that cage and I just... had to have him....

So Siege of Dragonspear is really good. I'm enjoying it more than Baldur's Gate 1 for several reasons, but the two main ones are:

1. Lots more companion dialogue. They just chat in the background a lot and it's adorable.

2. CAMP!!!!! I have attached place to send companions that aren't in my party and I just discovered there's a camp chest for my stuff

On the downside: bg crashed a lot, but it was a minor annoyance because I saved a lot; Dragsonspear crashes less frequently but deletes my save file every time it crashes ....

It's happened to me twice now, and the auto save I had to load was pretty far back. I'm going to try to keep a backup by saving two files every time I save. Annoying but better than losing so much progress.

I beat Sarevok

kinda anticlimactic, honestly.

BUT, I did skip a lot of side missions and things. I'll definitely play again.

For now, I am on to dragon seige :)

bg thoughts:

-Started as a mage: that was a MISTAKE

--------- (but I liked my character: he was a grumpy mage and I shipped him with Coran even though I don't think that's a possible pairing)

-Restarted as fighter MUCH BETTER

-Her name is Diana, she is outwardly calm and pleasant but boiling with rage inside

-She's obsessed with Dorn

-He's evil aligned and she good aligned so I don't think it'll work out but she has a mad crush

-My current party: Imogen, Dorn, Rasaad, Branwen, and the depressed wizard (Xan! I literally had to look his name up.)

-Rasaad is so freaking cute <3 <3

-I really love so many of the companions and I hate that I have to tell so many of them they can't join my party :(

Guys, what if...AU where Orin fails to usurp Durge and they switch places.

True Orin redemption through amnesia and experiencing real love for the first time. Like, she just needs a different outlet, guys, it's totally doable.

Orin returning to Baldur's Gate and finally getting to kill her grandfather-dad. Finally defeating her brother and his annoying situationship with her new family.

Finding adoration from the locals she accidentally saves, and finding out that that feels really good, actually. Adopting the Astarion style of heroism (No one actually cares about murder as long as you murder the right people.)

Just...Violent unhinged little gremlin of a companion Orin.

I maybe accidentally made my reputation drop so low everyone but Dorn left my party ...... whoops

I'm just going with it right now. I may have to restart if the two of them can't win, but I'm curious how this will play out

He found out Diana's bhaalspawn and was VERY into it

I wish I could change Diana's alignment.....

She's definitely leaning towards evil now...
