a/n: since i wrote a little something for yeonjun day, i decided to write something for soobin day as well, enjoy :]

it’s 8:37 pm and soobin should be home any second now. their boss had agreed to help you organize a fake meeting at the studio; he wanted to talk to soobin about his position as a leader. while their boss kept him there, you and the rest of the members were decorating your one story home with balloons, confetti, streamers, and any other possible decoration that screams ‘birthday’.

soobin had absolutely no idea that his girlfriend & his friends were secretly throwing him a surprise party. for all he knew, he was just going to get home and have a slice of cake alone with you. while you knew soobin would be more than appreciative of this idea, you wanted to do something special for him. he always does a lot for you so you wanted to make him feel happy on his special day. you even dressed up for him. you wore his favorite dress; he loves the way it curves your body just right, showing the perfect amount of skin.

hueningkai, who was the look out for soobin, gave the signal — soobin had just arrived. you quickly turned off the lights and everyone else hid behind the couch. as soobin is walking up the front porch, you open the door and greet him with open arms.

“hi baby, you’re home! how was the meeting?” you hug him before taking his satchel from his hands, relieving him of some weight and closing the door behind you both. soobin takes off his jacket and hangs it on the coat hanger by the door.

“it was okay i guess. it’s just a little stressful sometimes having to be both a manager and a leader. but it’s okay. i know you’ll relieve that stress for me, won’t you baby?” soobin asks as he leans in close to your face, placing a passionate kiss on them. he pulls away and you both smile at each other. his big hand snakes around your back as he massages one of your ass cheeks with the other one.

“i believe i was promised some of this cake tonight?” soobin squeezes your ass cheek and begins to lift your exposed leg to wrap around his hips.

“SURPRISE!”

everyone jumps up from behind the couch as beomgyu turns the lights on. confetti and balloons flying all over the living room. soobin was in complete shock. in fact, he was startled, and you could tell by how wide his eyes became. he wasn’t expecting anyone else in your home tonight. no one but you and him.

he slowly places his hands on his face, trying to hide the fact that he was so embarrassed, because he realized that everyone had just heard the words he spoke to you.

everyone at this point is still cheering, as yeonjun walks up to soobin and wraps his arm around his shoulders.

“hey man, maybe next time make sure no one else is home before you seduce your girlfriend. we almost witnessed a whole sex scene” yeonjun laughed as he playfully pushed soobin’s shoulder.

yeonjun and soobin walk toward the kitchen, where everyone is starting to sing happy birthday.

“okay birthday boy, make a wish” you say as you hold the cake in front of him.

“i bet this wasn’t the cake he was expecting tonight” beomgyu joked, and everyone giggled. soobin scoffed before blowing the candles out. everyone clapped and gathered around you as you handed out the slices of cake.

you all hung out for the rest of the night until it was getting too late and everyone left. soobin closed and locked the door behind them and turned around to thank you.

“i really needed this. i love you so much, thank you y/n” soobin pulled you in for another kiss, but this one lasted longer. you could taste the mix of vanilla and strawberries on his lips from the cake. a mix so sweet and so sensual. he pulled away and lifted you up, your legs wrapped around his waist as he walked toward your shared bedroom.

“soobin, where are we going?” you giggled, holding your hands behind his neck.

“you owe me that cake, darling” he whispered in your ear as he rubbed his hands on your thighs.

“you were serious?!”

“what did you just call me?” yeonjun asked as he laid beside you, cuddling you. stunned at what you had just called him, he slowly gets off of the bed.

“i-i said yeonjun, baby”

“why are you stuttering?” yeonjun was getting upset. a feeing of guilt washed over you as you looked down, fiddling with your thumbs. “look me in the eyes and repeat what you just said” he raised his voice.

the silence in the room was loud. he had already heard what you said. there’s no going back now. lying would only make things worse.

“y/n i’m waiting” yeonjun’s voice went soft, he was trying to contain the anger he was feeling. he was hanging on by a thread to the last bit of hope he had, trying to give you the benefit of the doubt. but that thread broke in half when you finally confessed. his hands ran from his face to his hair, pushing it back in disbelief; you called him soobin.

“i’m so sorry baby. i didn’t mean to-“

“baby?! don’t call me baby?! are you serious right now?” he pushed your hands away as they were reaching out toward him. he began to pace, not knowing what to say next.

“it was a mistake! i’m sorry! i messed up and i know that but please just let me fix this!” your eyes were starting to tear up.

yeonjun’s heart felt like it was about to pop out of his chest. he took a couple deep breaths before looking back at you, speechless. on the nightstand right next to him, your phone lit up and started ringing.

“soobin” yeonjun read off the screen. you walked toward your phone and picked it up. you stared at the screen, your thumb over the green button.

“are you seriously going to answer it? right now?” yeonjun’s eyebrows were furrowed and his voice became deeper. “if you answer that, i’m leaving and we’re done”.

“junnie please don’t leave. it’ll just be one second, please i promise” you turn back around toward the wall, answering the call. “h-hello? soobin, listen, can i call you back-”

SLAM!

you turn back around to find the door closed, and no sight of yeonjun; he was gone.

beomgyu stroked your hair and placed a strand behind your ear. “so y/n, when can i have a turn?”

“dude piss off” yeonjun moved beomgyu out of the way. grabbing your hand and taking your stuff before heading out the door.

you head back to the couch and handed yeonjun his water bottle. you stood in front of the empty space next to him, debating if whether sitting next to him was a good idea or not. you took too long to decide and yeonjun decided for you, grabbing your wrist and pulling you into the space next to him. soobin had brought everyone a blanket and you shared yours with yeonjun.

just a few minutes into the movie, you felt his hand rubbing on your thigh under the blanket. at first you wanted to move his hand away from your thigh, but then you realized it didn’t matter if no one can see you. you let him, and his hand moved higher and higher. soon he was rubbing your private area, and you quietly gasped. it was a relief that no one heard you. “yeonjun…. we shouldn’t” you leaned over and whispered in his ear.

“hey….” he called out to you. no answer.

you must have been a bit distracted along the way because when you get there, the boy is gone. the only things left on the table were a variety of art books. you start to explore the art books, flipping through various pages of pretty colors, when you feel someone standing closely behind you. you jump startled when you turn your head to the side and realize it’s the boy.

it’s just another day with the boys at yeonjun’s place. you all played a few board games to pass time while the pizza arrived. you and kai were sitting on the living room couch while the rest of the boys were in the kitchen getting plates, cups, and drinks.

kai had been quiet this whole time you’ve both been sitting on the couch together so you decide to spark up a conversation. 

“so kai, when is your girlfriend coming? i’d love to meet her!”.

“oh umm she should be here soon” he nervously says. “oh okay! so, are you enjoying this little party?” you ask as you scoot closer to him since you were on opposite sides of the couch. “uh y-yeah. what about you?” he asks as he nervously smiles and places his hands between his thighs. “i mean it’s been pretty fun but i’m waiting for something interesting to happen... you know?” you go in to lean on his shoulder before he quickly gets up and walks toward the kitchen where the rest of the boys are just watching the both of you as they giggle and sip their drinks.

the pizza delivery guy soon arrives and yeonjun answers the door, takes the pizza boxes, and hands the delivery guy a tip. he takes the pizza boxes to the kitchen where kai is still standing, drinking out of his soda can while beomgyu, soobin, and taehyun are cracking jokes with you in the living room.

“dude, come check out this pizza” yeonjun motions to kai as he opens the box. “i want you to take the box to her and offer her a slice”. “yeonjun, please no. are you serious? please don’t make me do this” kai begs. “do it! i’m helping you out here. unless you wouldn’t mind having a certain someone tell her about someone’s little crush” kai punches yeonjun’s shoulder as soon as he says the word ‘crush’. “y-you wouldn’t” “i think we both know i would. so come on” yeonjun says as he hands kai the pizza box, waiting for him to take it to you.

as kai takes the box from yeonjun’s hands, he pauses, takes a short breath, and starts walking towards you in the living. “h-hey y/n umm, do you want a pizza slice?” kai asks as he opens the box to reveal a heart shaped pepperoni pizza. “oh! it’s a heart pizza, how cheesy! no pun intended. sure i’ll take one, thank you!” kai lets out a loud cackle at your pizza pun, feeling embarrassed. you smile and grab a slice from the box. he smiles back offering the rest of the members a slice right after. 

it’s getting late but nobody is tired. you’ve always found something to do whether that’s watch a movie, play more board games or take selcas. however, now you all agree to play truth or dare on the living room carpet. beomgyu went first and chose dare. taehyun told him to remain silent for the next two rounds which everyone found hilarious. next up was soobin who picked truth. “yeonjun, i accidentally dropped your toothbrush in the bathroom toilet and placed it back on the sink like nothing happened”. “you did WHAT?” yeonjun jumps on soobin and playfully attacks him on the living room floor. “i can’t believe you. you owe me a new toothbrush. hueningkai, you’re next”.

“uh, i pick truth” he quietly says, instantly regretting his decision and now hoping he doesn’t receive a certain question. “tell y/n how you really feel about her”. kai’s cheeks quickly turn bright red as you turn toward him. “kai, what is he talking about? is there something you want to tell me? do you not like me? do you not want to be friends?”. “no! i mean yes!” kai breathes deeply before continuing, “listen y/n, you have it all wrong. the reason why my ‘girlfriend’ didn’t come tonight is because i don’t have a girlfriend. the truth is, i like you. i like you so much. i’m sorry i guess i was just too scared to tell you. i didn’t want you to look at me differently, and much less stop being friends with me” kai looks down toward the floor, feeling ashamed of himself for liking one of his best friends.

“you know kai, you really should have told me sooner about how you felt. because if you did, i would have been able to tell you that, well, i really like you too”. all the members were in shock, including kai. they had no idea you also had a crush on kai. “wait, y-you do?” “kai of course! haven’t you been getting the hints? i always want to be close to you. wherever that may be. i just want to be with you. not to mention, you’re the only one in my contacts with the heart emoji” kai let’s out a loud single “HA” before covering his mouth feeling embarrassed again. “that was cute” you say giggling.

“alright so are you guys dating now or what” beomgyu asks eating his third pizza slice of the night. kai remains silent as he’s still feeling shy from your confession, so you decide to speak instead. “what do you say kai? are we?” you say before he nods his head and you place a sweet kiss on his cheek as you watch them turn bright red for the second time that night.

“we should probably start getting ready for bed now” taehyun says as he gets up from the circle, everyone getting up afterwards. “come on kai, say goodnight to your GIRLFRIEND” yeonjun teases as he moves his shoulders. soobin pushes yeonjun away and kai thanks him. “my pleasure. goodnight you two”
