this might be so fucking weird to post but this is MY DAMNED BLOG and i don’t care. but anyways—does anyone feel SICKLY maternal to their own mother? like, when she’s sad, or cleaning even, i feel sick to my stomach. i think about her when she was a child, wanting her mom. it just makes me so upset, but when i ask her if she ever has those, “i want my mom” moments, she’s like nah your nana and i were never close. LIKE… that’s just so sad because my mom and i are very close. we aren’t bestfriends because she’s my mom and we don’t have a friendship sort of dynamic, but she is my biggest supporter. i know if she’d been shown a preview of what her adult life would look like after college, she’d be disappointed. if she never had kids, would she be happier?
