Ask Yourself This
It is astounding how much social media has impacted how race is perceived. Why are we all so concerned with the color of everyone’s skin? Why can we not just see each other for who we are, human beings. Even after all of this time after all that African Americans have been through to get to the point they are today, and how much maturity Caucasians have gained, why can we not all forget the past because we were not involved in it. When a new generation comes around, we should try to teach them that a person is a person, not that there are different levels of people. Why do we not already do this? We should all be able to see that we are all equally created, and it is our job to be the best person that we can be. Luckily, we have social media to thank for the attention all of these issues have gotten, and we should continue to express how we feel about what is important because everyone’s opinion matters to someone.
