i wrote @taylorswift a letter and took a photo each time i felt a very strong emotion in 2020 (so far) and i think it’s finally time to share them.

dear taylor swift,

today felt... special. i feel like i’m being treated like a grown up now and it feels better than i thought. me and my sisters went to walmart alone to get stuff to make t shirts (so cool i know) and it might seem small but being alone with my sisters at night felt weirdly cool. wellllll until we thought we were going to be kidnapped at starbucks but we weren’t. we’re also going to disneyland this year (my HAPPY place) and i’m so excited for that. i can’t believe i’m gonna be back in california soon. i feel really excited for a lot of things this year. this might just be my year.

is it weird i call you “taylor swift”? i feel like we’re buds you know? i’ll just start my letters with ‘dear taylor’. u and me: best of buds. even know you don’t know me. but you liked my reply to chloes post one time and THAT was a real connection moment. anYways i’m feeling starry-eyed-over-the-moon! my boyfriend of 10 months now just bought me a lover deluxe edition! just for no reason!!!! i’m so happy I COULD SCREAM in a happy way of course. i think this is what true love is. buying your girlfriend a lover deluxe book?

wow it’s been so long since i’ve had one. the last best friend i had was alec (my boyfriend) and now i have a GIRL best friend. and her boyfriend is best friends with my boyfriend SO WE CAN GO ON DOUBLE DATES. we just got back from winter formal and we’re all gonna do face masks and watch teen beach movie. i’m hiding upstairs pretending like i’m changing into sweats but really i just need to tell you. it brought tears to my moms eyes when sage bought me a bff bracelet. and me too. we went shopping last weekend and that’s when she got it for me! we are EXACTLY the same i swear to god!!!! i’m so excited and happy and SO MANY EMOTIONS!!!!!!

im sitting on the bathroom floor VIBING. alec told me that the theatre girls really want me join theatre. i am so happy. i can’t believe happiness is so wonderful. like this is true happiness. all last year i had no friends and now a group of girls wants me to be friends with them? wow!

today was just trash. everything about today sucked. i cried on the bus and on the way home. i’m kinda fine now but the biggest thing about today was that someone called me weird for being so quiet. their exact words were:

“why are you always so quiet? that’s kinda weird.”

it hurts a lot because i can’t do anything right. i get criticized for everything i do. last year the reason i didn’t have any friends was because i was too outgoing/loud and now i’m too quiet? sheesh

i lost my best friend today. i always thought i’ve had hard times in my life but today was totally different. we didn’t get in a fight or anything. it’s just one of those times you can tell. man this hurts a lot

i never want to experience this again. it feels like she tried so hard to be my best friend for months and then as soon as we became best friends she completely stopped trying. i’m feeling so hurt right now
