I really have a lot to say from my recent trip. I just don't have time to write and don't know how to put how I feel into words. It's a mixed of everything. Really. I swear to God I don't have any idea whether I'll enjoy this trip or not cause I just bought the ticket to make the best out of the way things turned out (if you know what I mean). Impromptu. Unplanned. Let's just say me being me. I don't even have time to prepare a proper itinerary. I mean... I am a very complex person, usually i'll have the details ready for example how to get from point A to point B, what is the nearest station, which is the cheapest/fastest option yada yada. But, I was so busy with work and so tired to plan- I just let things happen. I was surprised myself how I could let a big of a trip like this go improperly planned??? We practically googled everything the night before, and sometimes before we leave the hotel. It's nerve-wrecking yet fulfilling. (About how we missed our flight was totally not our fault. If the bus arrived as what it said in the website then the tragic incident won't happen. Plus, not only us who missed their flights they are few other passengers who took a different time from the same bus company to go to different destination missed their flights too. It-is-not-our-fault) But again, I was just tired, to plan. (Read in the perspective of travelling alone, first time this far to a foreign countries. Yes I was with my cousin after that, but yeah it's just me and my cousin) I was scared. Tak tipu. Tapi doa je banyak2. I didn't know what to expect. Cause I didn't do a thorough research/read. I left everything to Him up above. Coming home, I asked myself- was I happy? was I satisfied? Yes indeed. It's a mixed of everything but still I'm glad I did this now. Alhamdulillah dipermudahkan semuanya. Innalillahiwainnailaihirajiun. Sedikit catatan daripada salah seorang jemaah Masjid untuk menjadi iktibar dan panduan kita semua dalam mengejar husnul khotimah. ************************************ Perginya Seorang Jamaah Veteren Tegar Surau Taman Permata - Hasil Mencari Husnul Khatimah [ Hj Abdullah Wan Mamat @ Pak Wan] Semalam 22 Ramadhan, 16 Jun 2017 - di kala para jamaah sibuk berdoa dan menanti untuk berbuka, tetiba Tuan Hj Abdullah semacam sesak nafas. Saya yang berada berada di meja sebelah yg menyedarinya terus mendekati dan cuba membantu sekadar yang patut. Melihat keadaan beliau yg tercungap, muka berpeluh tangan kaki sejuk - saya minta dibawa ke atas surau. Tempat yg beliau duduk dan hampir terjatuh, itulah tempat yang beliau duduk bersama cucu2 untuk iftar, semenjak saya tinggal di T Permata dari 1988. Sebaik selesai solat maghrib, urusan diambilalih oleh Tn Hj Raus dan anaknya Hj Ab Aziz, sementara saya dan SU menunaikan solat maghrib. Akhir, jam 7.50pm, Pak Wan menghembuskan nafas terakhir di saksi oleh beberapa ahli keluarga dan jamaah STP. Sedikit Pengamatan tentang arwah sepanjang saya kenali dia. 1. Peringkat awal saya kenali, beliau seorang yg pemurah dan ringan tangan membantu memasak dan kerja dapur jika ada program di surau 2. Beliau istiqamah berjamaah di surau walaupun bertongkat tetap datang solat di surau. Istiqamah mencari husnul khatimah. Beliau berjaya mengakhiri dalam keadaan berpuasa dan di surau. 3. Masa nak balik biasanya jamaah akan bantu untuk hantar tapi dia cakap cukup turunkan dia di tangga belakang dan dia akan berjalan perlahan2 ke rumah dgn bertongkat. 4. Walaupun uzur, beliau akan solat sambil berdiri, tidak menggunakan kerusi - sambil menyandarkan bahu kiri je dinding 5. Tiga posisi tetap yg beliau istiqamah, menyandar di dinding dan tiang depan sebelah kiri - untuk ambil saf depan dan kerusi pertama meja yg sama untuk iftar dan beliau hampir jatuh di meja tersebut di saat berbuka. Masa kuliah surau, posisi tetap beliau tiang kiri depan. Alfatihah buat arwah Pak Wan Abdullah!

3 Feb 2016:My cousin, Atiqah arrived in London in the afternoon. We went out to London town later in the evening (kesian Atiqah jet lagged 😌) - 4 Feb London Stansted-Dublin via Ryan Air:Where unforeseen incident happened. We did went out early to catch a bus to Stansted Airport, but little that we know the bus made another stop in the forever jam London town,causing a supposedly less than 2 hrs ride to the airport took almost 3 hrs.We did try our luck by just going thru the custom eventho the gate is about to close,yes we 🏃‍♀️ to the gate like nobody's business(rasa nak pecah paru-paru 😩).We did arrive at the gate,we saw the plane,still not moving,but the airline staff didn't allow us inside, no matter how hard we pleaded. We had no choice but to purchase a new plane ticket (cause us a bomb, tapi redho je lah).My 1st time experience 😴 at the freezing cold airport that night.We met a few Malaysian students at the airport,waiting for their 1st flight out in the morning for a holiday.Fyi,there were also other bus passengers who missed their flight,bcoz of that stupid bus.I hope the 🚌 company has ceased to exist 😡 - 5 Feb:Arrived in Dublin.Was so knackered bcoz we didn't sleep all night.Took a bus to Galway,where we will be staying @Atiqah's friend house, Nadiah.She showed us around Galway small town & her University - 6 Feb:Went to Cliffs of Moher tour http://www.bus.ie/ - 7 Feb:Took a bus back to Dublin.Shopped for some souvenirs before going to the Airport. Depart to Zurich at 4pm via Aer Lingus. 7.22pm: Arrived in Zurich & took a bus to Ibis Hotel near the airport (via booking.com) - 1. I'm in ❤️❤️❤️ with Ireland. I hope to come back! 2. We only travel with cabin size bag (as seen in d last picture) to save budget.I managed to bring 2 downjackets,1 boot & 1 sport shoe.Strictly no shopping.Packing tips http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/2013/05/how-to-pack-a-carry-on-like-a-pro.html 3.Make sure u read the cabin bag allowed for each flight. i.e Easy jet only allow 1 bag including ur handbag/laptop bag whereas Ryan Air & Aer Lingus allow 2 bags. 4. MIND YOU THIS IS A VERY LENGTHY POST. Long overdue sharing.Been wanting to jot down my experience that may/may not be beneficial to some.This was my 1st time travelling alone,this far(well I only met my cousin 5 days after).I was nervous as hell (with the thought of being a Muslim wearing head scarf,kidnapping etc).Alhamdulillah Allah eased.I used @Tripitcom app to create itinerary.I used watch button on Skyscanner,n decided 2 fly with Singapore Airlines(SIA) bcoz of the timing&rating (www.airlinequality.com).I used Seatguru app to choose my seat.If u ever fly with A380,pls choose d upper deck as it's more spacious.Here goes the 1st part KUL-SIN-LHR-STN-AMS-LGW - 28 Jan 2016 KUL-SIN-LHR: transit 2 hrs in Changi.I ❤️ Changi Airport! - 29 Jan LHR: sent my large luggage 2 my homestay in London using Airportr (www.airportr.com) I traveled to AMS with small hand luggage as I did not want to pay extra for the check in luggage.Purchased Three sim card from the vending machine (as suggested by Ira).3 is a telco company that offered a feel at home plan,where u can use the network service w no xtra charges to 42 countries (www.three.co.uk).Then,took a bus to London Stansted Airport, flying into Schiphol by Easy Jet (budget airline).Schiphol-Den Haag Central (train) where my friend Wafi picked me up - 30 & 31 Jan Wafi's House,The Hague:severed jet lag.Woke up,eat,sleep,repeat😅 - 1 Feb:Den Haag Central - Amsterdam Central by train.Got wifi in all intercity trains. Explored Amsterdam City. Didn't go to the RLD don't know why. Probably I was afraid bcos I'm alone at that time. Satisfied enough that I found I amsterdam statue. It was in front of Rijkmuseum.Was told the other one was outside of Schiphol Airport - 2 Feb: bought Countryside and Windmill tour (www.tours-tickets.com).I enjoyed the trip so much eventho I was alone (I am not a person who enjoy traveling alone).This excursion was totally worth it! 🙌🏻 - 3 Feb AMS- LGW:1st flight out to London Gatwick Airport (early morning flight is always the cheapest).I stayed at Malaysian homestay near Hammersmith(Fb London Homestay MY) - ...to be continued #SoulVacationEU2016 #traveltips
