Do you know if there's any scholarly consensus on why so many different groups of people seem to have arrived at everything having emanated from an all-encompassing divinity in some way or another? I don't know where to start looking that doesn't lead to some ancient globespanning civilization conspiracy.

Look at literally everything in the world and ask yourself where it came from. Keep asking yourself that question. You will inevitably arrive at some philosophical concept similar to the Prime Mover or The One. The idea that "everything probably came from the same place if you look back far enough" is just a fairly logical conclusion to reach.
