@twotonesoffun asked for a moody starter involving mjseff.
11:21pm.
A week out from AEW's shows in Australia, you'd think Max and Seth would be soaking up their little time together and enjoying it, but it was the opposite. For whatever reason, they both were being avoidant toward one another.
Maybe it had to do with the shit weather outside, the gloominess of it all. Doubtful. Nah, this was something deeper.
"You've been staring at the goddamn phone for ten minutes now," Max stated as he stood in the kitchen, his back leaning against the counter. "Something I should know?" Knowing Seth, it could be a multitude of things that had him on edge. Something as little as a hangnail set him off sometimes.
At Seth's dismissive grunt with barely even a glance up at him, Max nodded once as he crossed his arms over his chest, "Right. Be a dick about it then." He should've just dropped it, but they'd been pulling away from one another for weeks now. Seth knew it. Max knew it. Everyone fuckin' knew it. "I'll be in the gym. When you're done PMSing, you can come find me."

i always wonder how different sons of anarchy wouldāve been if opie had shown up at the end of season 4 instead of tara, taking his place as vp. how he wouldāve been the one to k*ll clay in season six. how he and jax wouldāve been untouchable as pres and vp. damn u kurt sutter.

@italianexotiicbeauty asked for a scene with opie inside a courthouse. (accepting!)
The courtroom smelled like sweat and stale, burnt coffee. Miserable. Opie rose to his feet, hands clenched in tight fists at his sides as the judgeās mouth moved one word after another. He barely registered any of it untilā¦
āā¦five years in Chino State Penitentiary, effective immediately.ā
The words hit like a fucking sledgehammer. Opie didnāt react. Didnāt flinch. Didnāt look behind him. He couldnāt. Not yet. He just breathed in, slow and steady. Five years - he could do that. Heād already done that before.
A gavel slammed emphatically - a sound heād heard countless times before - as everyone in the room let out a collective sigh; some of relief. Some of anger. Thatās when he felt it. Her eyes on him. He knew she was worried without a second glance. He knew she was thinking the worst.
Everyone knows that Chino wasnāt some fancy retreat. The food tasted like shit, beds were even worse. Always too fuckinā cold, or too fuckinā hot. Never a happy medium.
Itās a concrete coffin⦠where the air is thick with regret and self pity, how the walls pressed in like a fucking trash compactor, how every single second is a reminder of what they did to wind up there.
The handcuffs around his wrists clanked against the table as the bailiffās began escorting him out of the courtroom. It wasnāt until then that he glanced back at the crowd, finding her eyes on him.
He didnāt speak, though. He lifted his chin to nod, conveying without words that heād make it through this just like before. Only this time heād have a reason to come out the other side of this whole.
